Inver
For those who like something set in either of the World Wars this may appeal. If you have read Birdsong it has a similar sort of theme, but stands on its own. I thoroughly enjoyed it and is a new author for me. It was a bookring via Bookcrossing and so glad I signed up for this one. Review here
SueK
I picked up this book in Oxfam for a few pounds recently and am ready to start it soon. Thanks for the review Inver, it looks a good read. It's sounds right up my street. Thanks.

SueK
As you say, Inver, it is a bit slow to get going but I'm enjoying it. Hopefully I can have a good stab at it over the weekend.
