Sorry, I forgot to include a link again! It’s on their website here: https://www.orbitbooks.net/orbit19-ebook-sale-uk/ but it’s also just on the kindle store.

No probs! There wasn't a link from the main page of Orbit's website that I could find, and searching Orbit books on Amazon just threw up everything they have ever published!

Orbit have loads of books for 99p at the moment. Including Arthur C. Clarke’s 2001: A Space Odyssey and Rosewater by Tade Thompson (which won the Arthur C. Clarke award for this year) :)

I'm a bit late but would recommend 2001: A Space Odyssey.

For anyone who is interested in science fiction and who hasn't read it yet, the excellent The Player of Games by Iain M Banks is just 99p on the Kindle as part of Amazon's Cyber Monday sale.

Also, Arthur C Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama is also the same price.

I loved The Player of Games, would recommend. I have the Rama omnibus on my TBR.

Orbit have their 2019 releases on sale for £1.99. I'm very tempted by The Ten Thousand Doors of January and The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep.

I've heard good things of The Ten Thousand Doors of January. I haven't read it myself though, nor am I sure if it's a book I would like.

One Stolen Kiss by Anna Faversham is FREE until 24th December

A collection of five short stories:

Deep in the World of the Dead – Former Army soldier, Ben, tries to settle into civilian life and moves to a new town to audition as a Big Band trumpet player. But when his housing arrangements fall through, he learns how easy it is to become homeless through no fault of his own. Dark clouds sometimes have a silver lining and none shine brighter than those with romance attached.
Judge Not – You know what they say about assumptions. A holidaymaker in Italy makes the mistake of misjudging and is humbled when, at last, she discovers the truth. Love comes in different guises.
Angela – Angels come in all shapes and sizes, and some of us have entertained them unaware. As the poet says, “God moves in a mysterious way”.
A Wonderful World – The loss of a loved one can lead to loneliness, but new doors stand open.
One Stolen Kiss – Set in 1814 England, this is a prelude to Anna Faversham's Dark Moon Trilogy. Daniel, a key figure in the smuggling community, becomes aware of a young girl who will change his life.

Just spotted a second one, all of the books published by Louise Walters Books are 99p on all digital platforms until tomorrow (pretty sure this one's for the US too).

I recommend Fallible Justice for Dresden Files fans and I'm quite tempted by The Last Words of Madeleine Anderson... https://www.louisewaltersbooks.co.uk/books

The first five Rivers of London books are 99p on the Kindle today.

Just saw this and remembered how close the publication date for the new one is :yahoo:

Anyway, what I actually came to say... Rebellion publishing has quite a few ‘first in series’ fantasy and science fiction books for 99p until the 17th February: http://www.rebellionpublishing.com/post/3287

I rushed to buy the Rachel Caine, only to discover I bought it 3 years ago. :D

I suppose that was kind of a good surprise? :giggle2:

Another free one I noticed on twitter today, Deadly Prospects by Clio Gray. Not sure if this one's international, it didn't say.

I don't know if these books are any good as I haven't read them yet but I thought I'd share :).

They are free for a few more days according to the first link (Amazon US link).

George Mahood's debut book Free County: A Penniless Adventure the Length of Britain is available for free today (until Wednesday) on all Amazons (I'm subscribed to the author's newsletter, it's what he said).

Amazon US:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0085W00M8?tag=geormaho-20

Amazon UK:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Free-Country-Penniless-Adventure-Britain-ebook/dp/B0085W00M8/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=free+country&qid=1587444895&sr=8-1

I haven't read Free Country yet, but I have read 2 other books by the author, called Every Day is a Holiday and Life's a Beach, and I really liked both of them.

Free Country is a travel memoir of when the author decided to cycle from one side of Britain to the other with a friend, without them carrying any money, food, clothes or bicycles.

The two books I have read by the author were both funny. So if you're into reading a funny travel memoir, grab it now for free while you can :).

My collection of short stories is free until 25th April. A little treat for you, I hope, during the lockdown.
