It's almost impossible to keep up with everything, I know I'm not able to keep up with all the threads I'd like to. :)

x

This morning it stressed me out for some reason, so I stayed away from the forums and calmed down. I feel better about it now so I decided to start my laptop and read it all.

I'm glad you're better. :)

Hey all, thank you for the lovely comments. :)

I'm doing okay, lots of good and bad happening at the moment. My mum and sister had to move out of their place in a hurry, so now my house has been taken over. All their belongings are stored in my lounge, kitchen and spare bedroom. They are also temporarily living here, so things are a little crowded and stressful at the moment. I haven't read a book in over a month now :(

Awww :(. I hope things will calm down for you soon, Devi. It sounds pretty stressful to have many people living in a smaller space with lots of boxes around everywhere (when it was like that for my boyfriends' family it really stressed me out). I hope you'll be able to read more soon :empathy:.

Looks like we are on the last stretch, the person living in the unit have signed off on their final inspection, and are now awaiting the bank to release the last bit of money so they can get their keys and move. That means my mum and sister will finally be moving into the unit, don't get me wrong I love them both to bits, we just like things done differently.

Saw a specialist on monday, she suspects early onset lupus, wants me to have more tests to confirm.

Still not reading much, just bits from an e-book.

Lupus Devi? I'm glad you are seeing a specialist straight away, as you will at least be in the right place if it is confirmed. Big hugs. X   :friends0:

Glad that Mum and sis have got a place sorted out. I couldn't live with mine for any amount of time ~ I'd commit murder within hours. :blush2:

Yeah lupus at its early stages - treatment is anti-inflammatory meds (which i can't take) and panadol - which does nothing for any of my pain.

Something terrible happened this evening, when I tried to put new books on my kindle I was told that it's memory was FULL! I had to go through my books and make some tough decisions about my books. :) I took some books off that I have read and won't read again but it was sad...here I was thinking that it would take ages to fill the memory on the Kindle. Sigh will take a other amble through my library and see what else can go...

I think you meant to put this in your own thread, and posted it in mine by mistake?

I finished the first book in the Game of Thrones series, was great. Pretty close to the first season of the tv show.

Would like to thank athene for sending me a book to cheer me up! She sent me The Night Circus. :):friends0:

I've been away awhile and just read your updates about your recent diagnosis . Sorry to hear it . I hope the Dr can figure out something else you can take for it other than the ordinary meds . Hang in there.  You are such an inspiration to us all .

I'm really glad you are able to read a bit again . That's awful when you can't read ,isn't it ?  Sometimes ,reading can give us a little vacation in our head at least !

How have you been Julie? Thanks, I didn't know I was an inspiration to anyone.

I read a page or two a day, sometimes I can do more. Lately I have been fighting a new level of fatigue because I am now on heart medication. I feel so much better on it, except for the fatigue part. I have a rapid resting heart rate, that occasionally skips a beat. It was making me more fatigued than normal, but the tablet kinda cancels what i gained being on it - fatigue wise. If that makes sense.

Doing ok on this end . Maybe it'll take some getting used to with the new heart med. It'll probably be better for your body in the long run to help your heart rest as it should .I'll hope that you soon get more used to it and it doesn't bother you as much. Sometimes the side effects of meds are almost as hard to handle as the original illness ,but you have to trust that your Dr is making wise choices for you .

And you really ARE an inspiration !
