bree
I thought they deserved a thread to themselves While not as popular as Miss Marple or dear old Poirot - you can't help but love this detective duo. And unlike the usual slow-paced murder mystery format - the Tommy and Tuppence books are unexpectedly spy thrillers! I love the interactions between them, their individual personalities, and how they age beautifully through the series. While the books themselves are not Christie's best - they do make an enjoyable read: The Secret Adversary (1922) Partners in Crime (1929) - collection of short-stories N or M? (1941) By the Pricking of My Thumbs (1968) Postern of Fate (1974) Anyone read them? Do share your thoughts!
dawnbirduk
I have read them all, and have enjoyed them, I love the characters but do not find the storylines themselves as strong as Poirot or Miss Marple
