Renniemist
I have quite a few rather large books on my shelf so I thought that I would join the challenge. I thought that I would include books with over 450 pages since these books look quite large to me. I don’t know if I will be able to read a large book every month but I will do my best to get through a few before the end of the year. So hear goes! January The Winter King by Bernard Cornwell 495 pages February None March The Interpretation of Murder by Jed Rubenfeld 529 pages April A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon 979 pages May Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood 542 pages June The Night Watch by Sarah Waters 475 pages July The Covenant by James Michener 1079 pages August Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J K Rowling 607 pages September Exodus by Leon Uris 626 pages October The Forest by Edward Rutherfurd 882 pages November ‘A Prayer for Owen Meany’ by John Irving 637 pages December 'Brick Lane' by Monica Ali 500 Pages
Renniemist
I have finished A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon. This was the 6th book in The Cross Stitch/Outlander series and I loved it. I had put off reading it because of its length and because I had thought that the series was going down hill a bit, but this book saw Diana Gabaldon right back on track. Although glad to have made it through the 979 pages I still I felt quite sad when it finished. Will there be a 7th book? Oh I do hope so. Renniemist
Well I did manage a chunky book in May. I managed to finish Alias Grace, which is a thoroughly good read and has 542 pages. Next month I hope to read The Night Watch by Sarah Waters, which I consider to be quite chunky at 472 pages.

Renniemist
Thanks for the recommendation Niceguy. Until I Find You is not on my mount TBR, but I will keep it in mind for another time. I have decided to read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows since I have it, and want to read it before I tempted into the threads about it. At just over 600 pages I am hoping it will be a nice easy read.

Renniemist
I have had Exodus by Leon Uris on my shelf for quite some time, so I think it is time to give it a go. At 626 pages I expect it will keep me busy for quite some time.
