  1. Hi there! I am not sure if any of you have read John Green. But I had to post about him. Recently I was browsing Goodreads for a book to read and came across Looking for Alaska by John Green. The story sounded so good that I obviously had to grab it from the library (such a pleasure when you find the book you are looking for!) When I started reading it, I was blown away. I couldn't put the book down. The characters were so alive and the book took me back to my school days. And then I jumped into the world of John Green. He hasn't written many books but they all blew me away. I couldn't stop thinking about each of these books for a good couple of weeks: Paper Towns - Such a feel-good book, made me think a lot! Again, took me back to my school days, to the fun-filled days of freedom and laughter with friends. The Fault in our Stars - made me cry so much, but it is brilliantly written. I am yet to read An Abundance of Katherines, Will Grayson, Will Grayson and his story from Let it Snow. Have you read any of his books? If so, which one did you like? And if you haven't, then you should definitely try reading one.
  2. I love this series so much! I have read and re-read and loved them even more. In fact I was missing reading it so I went and got The Prisoner of Azkaban from the library again. These books will never get old for me, no matter how much old I get he he.
  3. Bree: Ah! Bangalore - the IT city Good to know Dussehra is just around the corner.
  4. Hiiii Bree! Yes i am a bengali surprised to see someone recognised my name as a bengali name he he. Where are you from? Thanks everyone! Looking forward to posting here
  5. If this includes only Chick-lit, I would suggest you read any of Sophie Kinsella's books. They are amazing! My favourite ones are I've Got Your Number and Can you Keep a Secret?

I have been in love with words and stories since I was 3 when my grandmother and nanny read stories to me. And since I learnt to read, no one could or can keep books away from me he he. I love reading mostly Historical fictions, Mysteries, Crime and Thrillers, Chick-lit and Fantasy. I cant name my favourite books as there are too many Although my most favourite will always remain to be the Harry Potter books. No matter how many times I read them, they never get old. However, my favourite authors are J.K. Rowling, John Green, Nicholas Sparks, Sidney Sheldon, Sophie Kinsella, Jane Austen, and many more. Look forward to chatting books with you all! Ritu
