Hello. I have just finished the above book. Really enjoyed it. Its an author I have never heard of before. I really enjoy this fresh take on crime thrillers. If you like such series as Tess Gerritsen's then you will enjoy this book. It is rich in visual stimulation and gore. Yet still contains a good plot and twist. I would recommend this to a person who is new to the genre. Lou x

Mort - from disk world Black Beauty - Anne Sewell (I have to add.. this character has done more for horses in the past two centuries than anything else!) Jane Rizzoli - Rizzoli and Isles series Rupert Campbell-Black - Riders (because only he can!) Christian Grey - Fifty Shades.. (This man may not be everyones fav.. but lets be honest.. my intimate life has certainly not suffered!) I Tried 'Room' Gab, and I left it, I could not read it, I was relaly looking forwards too it too! I have demolished 'The Silent Girl' by Tess Gerritsen which was excellent and I am now reading 'The Snow Child' which looks to be an excellent read also. Lou x

Do you ever feel that people judge you by the books which you read? I find that if I read a certain style of book, and not other books I am frowned upon. For example, I addor the P Cornwell books but i found 'The Great Gatesby' and 'Tess of D'ubervilles' to be two of the worst books I ever read, However, if this comes up in conversation I feel as though I am being ridiculed by people who consider their book choices more 'authentic' and 'correct' Thoughts? You know what? I am totally disgusted with the organisers. The Olympic opening ceremony, was massive, was on BBC, and was a major event. But the Paralympics if on C4 with a much smaller affair. I'm sorry, but I know who are the real hero's these people have taken what life has thrown at them and pushed and pushed until they are at the top of their game! How do we reward it? we let them know that we believe they are less important, mean less, and are generally of a lower standard. Angry. >=o Lou x

I have dictionary dot com on my phone, it really has to be a word I do not know, for me to look it up. But I do make the effort if I need to, My vocabulary is constantly expanding and reading is definatly a fantastic way to improve it. Lou x

To Be honest, having read both Fifty Shades and Bared to You, I have totally gone off this genre, its very repetitive, to the point where Bared to You is so similar its odd!! Try reading Jilly Cooper's 'Riders' not necessarily Steamy fiction. But Jilly Cooper writes smut well, where as others do not. Loux

My Favourite by fair is Tess Gerritsen. She is seriously talented, and so versatile! I also adore Maeve Binchey (This is like chalk and cheese!) but she was an amazing writer, who wrote proper stories, with morals and foundations! Lou x
