      Thanks Frankie :)

  3. I've done my 40 minute work-out this morning, followed by a 25 minute run/walk! *proud*
  4. How are you all doing? I've done my 4 work-outs + had my first run in... 4 months I believe. My toe is getting better so I wanted to give it a try. I started very easy though. Of the 20 minutes I probably run 10. I ran with my son (6 yo) so I kept his pace too. I'll mesure myself tomorrow or Monday... Fingers crossed!
  5. Really really really really looking forward to my holiday in London!!!!

Aww, that's a nice thing to say, Roland Butter! And I agree with you, London is fabulous!!!!

  6. Good for you! Thanks! And did you start again? Good! Great! I am feeling stronger now too and can do more challenging things now. I think I've lost last week 1 kilo. Not much, but I see it in my clothes, so that's a good thing. I've done ok with eating in the weekend too and I am sticking to my 4 work-outs a week.
  7. A few months away? Is that possible with your child going to school? I don't think it is difficult to travel with a young family. Well, it depends on what you really mean by travel, but you can go away with kids, I think. India sounds great!
  8. Be careful with your knee! You don't want to end up with permanent damage. You are running right? You do the proper warm-up and all that? Maybe the muscles of your knee are not strong enough yet for the running you do? Enjoy the Midsummer Eve!
  9. Struggeling with one of the protagonists of the book I am (trying) to write...

  10. I've done reasonably well. Although I seem not to have lost weight last week, I think this week it will continue to drop. I've definitely lost some centimeters on the right places! Yay! I've finished 4 work-outs (1x 30 minutes, 3x 40 minutes) this week and I am proud of myself. It wasn't always easy though... How have you all been doing recently? Sticking to it?
  11. Good for you! That must be feeling great!
  12. Oh, the joys of new shoes! Yes, I did enjoy the snickers and will go back to my routines. I completed 4 work-outs this week, and will do some sit-ups during the weekend.
  13. I just ate a snickers. How bad from a scale of 9 - 10 is that?
  14. Thanks Frankie! And go for that jog! ;-) I've done work-out number 3 this morning and I will go for another round tomorrow. That makes 4 workouts for this week. I've also measured myself and will do so again next week.
  15. Don't worry about it! I got it and I've felt the same sometimes. I've enjoyed "I heart New York" especially the second half of the book. It got more 'body' there I think. My next one "I heart Hollywood" is waiting now and I am looking forward to reading it.
  16. Oh, the PMS munchies... I had them last week and it was really awful. But I decided to give in, just for one day. At the end of it, so I had something to look forward during these days. I treated myself to one of my fave movies + something to eat that I really love. It felt good! The next day, I went right back to being healthy. This week I've done 2 out of 3 weekly work-outs already. I felt too tired, but I did it anyway. Yay! Also, I've lost 1,5 kilos last week, but it feels more. I should have measured myself (note to self: do it today then), I'm sure I've lost some centimeters on my tummy and my thighs. Wholegrain stuff is definitely a good thing! You've done better than I have ;-) Also, I tried to cut back on fruit juices and drink water instead.
  17. Well, I've already ordered "I heart Hollywood" and then I will see if I continue the series. I think I will though. I am especially looking forward to the last one "I heart London".
  18. Thanks! :-) I've already worked out twice this week and I am hurting in all the right places. At least I know that I am working the muscles I want to get working! lol And now I am getting ready for workout number 3. I am keeping away from all the sugery stuff, but it's not easy though...
  19. I am finally joining this topic too. I also want to get in shape, but I've been procratinating. I started running in March (I'd stopped running during the winter months) but then I broke my toe (2 months ago). Great. I still can not walk properly in my shoes, so I am mostly wearing my flip flops and running is of course out of the question. Of course I could do other things, like using my home trainer or orther excercise, but I've been putting it off... Untill just now. I put on an excercise DVD and worked out for about 30 minutes. It felt good and I am actually proud of my self. Even though I should have done this a while ago... I have a month before I go on vacation and want to loose at least 5 kilos. Besides working out, I have to watch what I eat. I am not really going on a diet, I just have to stop eating bad stuff, like chocolate puddings and cake, which I love toooooooooooooo much. Btw, you are talking a lot about stones here, how much is a stone?
  20. Maybe I should give this author another try. I've read a few years ago a translated (in Dutch) novel of hers, but I thought is was really bad written. But maybe it was just the translation that was bad (at that time I did not read my books in English) and I should try an English version now instead. Do you know if one of her novels is set in London? Or Cornwall? Thanks :-))
  21. I've tried one too a few months ago, and I totally agree with you there. I did not liked it. It felt very 'fake' and predictable in a boring way. Sometimes I don't mind predictability, if it is written in a funny or entertaining way. But this felt not good at all and I won't buy another book from LBD anymore! ;-)
  22. Ha! I just found out where to update my status! lol

  23. "Me before you" has no happy ending? BTW I haven't read your review, because I don't want to read too much about a novel I am intending to read. But if it has no happy ending, then I probably don't want to read it...
