Today I got a wooden splinter stuck underneath my fingernail, which came loose from the wooden floor. With some effort we managed to pry it loose. I've never had such a big splinter! It hurts a lot.

Back to work tomorrow. I will try to stay positive but it's just so depressing. :-(
