  1. I'm looking for something that really makes you feel and dwell on the book. I just finished reading "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" and enjoyed that. I'm looking for books along the lines of Anne Tyler writing or something like "Of Human Bondage" which isn't so much a love story, but a story about love. I've read all of Austen/Bronte's books too. Preferably something well written and not too generic. Thanks
  2. I don't think these type of book belong to a certain genre, but I'm looking for any suspense/thriller/murder mystery type books where a group of people are trapped in one location and they get killed one by one. The only such book I've read is "And then there were none", but I'd like to read some other books that has the same idea involving a trapped group of people. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the suggestions! Could I get maybe 1-2 more books? Some of the ones listed I couldn't find on my local library online catalog and my university also doesn't have them. Thanks
  4. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some family situation type novels. For instance, I love and have read most of the books by Anne Tyler. I want some books that deal with internal family relationships and addresses the faults/strengths of each member of the family. I rather read a contemporary well written adult fiction book that doesn't have too much outside romantic forces (I.e. girlfriend/boyfriend) unless it's tied in well. Thanks for the suggestions
