  1. Oh no, not at all. :-)

It's only that there were existing threads about the topics you started - I thought I'd mention the search feature so you can see if a thread exists first, that's all.

  2. It is by Patricia Bernard. It is about a boy whose dad has died meaning his mum wants to move back to the city instead of staying at the farm. His mum rents a house from a sleazy owner and his neighbours consist of a crying baby and a bad tempered man and his timid wife. He makes friends with an old woman and a young girl and he make enemies at his new high school. He resucues a Kangaroo and hides it at home from everyone until his friends finds out then he lets his other friend in on the secret. The bad kids at school then decide to kidnap the Kangaroo and some chapters later the story ends, great dialougue between the characters.
  3. I imagine most people were in bed when you posted your question below! Welcome to the forum - please can you use the search facility before starting threads. As most of your posts are about Children's / YA fiction, that is the relevant forum so I've moved your posts there, and merged where necessary.

  4. I still read her books to this day! Tracey Beaker 2 and Bad Girls and Girls out late are amazing books!
  5. This man is amazing, his shock ending to his short stories are terrific. I remember think it was one whole book and didn't relise it was like 7 stories in one haha! Happy memories.
  6. Anyone had the pleasure of reading this... what a shame there was neer a second book to!
  7. I loved English when I found about this book during a lesson! I know there was meant to be a hidden message in the book, but I just loved it to death and it made me want to read! Anyone else have fun reading these books?
  8. I hate the films but I love the books to death! The characters, the writing, the magical world, the friendship of Harry/Ron/Hermione! I have to say SNAPE is a personally fave along Umbridge! POA was particualrly well written and always stands out to me for some reason. Anyone think the last few books were too long or not long enough!? I want to hear anything and everything/likes and dislikes/happy memories etc! Have a great time discussing!
