  5. aaahaha

Yeah. But my town isn't much of a good read you could say. :/ Donated books are so lame! D:

But I'm reading new books now :P

  6. Ahahaha, well I've finished all books for now at least.

and thanks for the welcome. I'm sure it'll be fun being here.

  7. Yeah I feel for her too.. Even if she acts like she's more important than me. (She has recently decided that my room is now hers.) Also, I love your kitty!!! >/////< I've always loved cats! I'm allergic, but I still have to play with one whenever I see it
  8. ooh! My dog is named Snofee. I named her that when I was younger. I don't know why. But she's been with us for a while... But we took her to the vet yesterday and something terrible happened! There was this new vet lady and she.. shaved her butt and tail! x_______x She looks SO messed up now... and my father keeps calling her monkey butt. :/ That's one of her .. I would show you all a photo of her new monkey butt, but my mother says I'm not allowed to take photos of it because snofee will be embarrassed. I'll also add some information on her: She smells bad sometimes.. it's 'cause she rolls in dead things after running through the swamp. Interests: Scratching my door at night, barking at nothing, panting loudly while one tries to sleep, being grumpy, ignoring mother, hurting my hamsters, dragging home sticks, running from the vacuum, hiding, eating my dinner, freaking out.
  9. Day off tomorrow.. Hopefully books get delivered! Feelin' glum.

  10. omg, it's chi!! I'm a novice cook, so most of what I make turns out a little.. unpleasant. The worst was.. uhm.. either the filling in my onigiri, or Fettuccine alfredo. The onigiri filling was SUPPOSED to be bbq pork.. but ended up being little orange coloured rocks. It was completely inedible. I haven't had pork since. But when I made fettuccine alfredo-- I'm pretty sure the milk I used was rotten. Because it was the worst thing in existence. I took a mouthful, spit it out, then washed out my mouth and brushed my teeth x__x I can't even think about it anymore. x__x It makes me gag.. Bleh. ... I still try to cook though! Just not those recipes.
  11. See, I was thinking about reading those.. but I have to get them ordered if I'm ever to read them. :/ So you think it's worth it then? Actually I've been directed towards that trilogy a lot.. but I just haven't looked at it. Maybe I will! Hmm. I just can't find the right poetry. Everything's always.. I don't know how to describe it. It's as if it doesn't even make it to my ears. Written down! And thanks. Hopefully they help me like they help you. Wow.. Got it. If there's a book that can inject life into a blank.. maybe it can give me a boost too! That actually sounds terrific! I've read so much ordinary.. something different is a welcome change. Thanks everyone! I didn't expect people to actually help
  12. Thanks everyone. I'll hopefully be calling this place home after some time! But I will warn you-- My writing style will change depending on the book I'm currently reading.. a sort of subconscious imitation that I can't hold back. My previous english teachers found it annoying. :/
  13. There are many books I didn't enjoy. I've already forgotten their names. But from what I can remember.. I didn't like the majority of uber fantasy novels I read (they all seem to be.. bleh). I didn't enjoy most sci-fi (although I really did love 'Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep' and I liked 'Enders Game' [but I read that when I was much younger]). A lot of Philip K. Dick's novels were good actually. I also read this one book.. "Under The Skin", which (although predictable) was a pretty good read. Other books I liked include: Heart of Darkness The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy A day in the life of Ivan Denisovich To Kill a Mockingbird Ethan Frome (we read it in class, but I still really liked it.) Basically anything good. Ahahaha. If it's a good read, I'll be able to fit into the story. But I'm looking for a book that goes the extra kilometre.. something.. special. The only books I don't enjoy are Holocaust retellings or stories or whatever.. bad sci-fi.. and super fiction (I've never liked werewolves / vampires / zombies). Did that help?
  14. I'm sure I will! Thanks.
  15. Nothing really excites me. .. it's been that way for years now, basically as far as I can remember. That feeling one gets when they wake up.. feeling terrific.. Not only have I forgotten when I last felt that.. I can hardly remember what it even feels like. Reading puts me in someone else's shoes.. and helps me get that bit of excitement.. but now books are beginning to fail me. Do any of you know of a book to pull me back up? Something that can reach into me and electro-charge my soul? Seriously.
  16. Hi! I'm new too, so lets be awesome together.
  17. heh heh. Nice to meet 'ya. I wish you great luck in discussion! .. if that makes sense
  18. Ahahah. Just introducing myself! I'm Clement. And I'm bored stiff. Hopefully I'll get some ideas for books here.. and share with you all what knowledge I have. My hometown's small. And dreary. The books here are uncultured and lame. It's all donated crap that nobody wants to read. ... but I read it anyway. Sure, there are a few gems amongst the rubble, but for the most part-- Bleh. Hit me up with a suggestion if you ever get one!
