  3. Ahaha yeah thats the same with me but most of the time you can figure out the word as you keep reading so it doesnt bother me all that much.
  4. Ah i hadnt thought of that, i dont think shes too bad but ill keep that in mind, thanks. And CaliLily, i think ive heard of the play Aida so ill check that out thanks. I think the young adult books would be a good way to start but ill see what she says. Thank you~!
  5. Ugh i hated reading during school, my classmates were horrors and it really put me off all books for awhile. We had to read The Simple Gift by i dont remember, i think 4 years in a row, and still i was the only one out of all my english classes that actually read it.... Another one was Mice and Men but my classmates wouldnt stop bitching and we ended up watching the movie instead. This also happened when our teacher tried to read Romeo and Juilet i think we spent 2 classes on it before watching the movie with DiCaprio (which wasnt as bad...) When i first started high school our teacher use to make us do lots of books reviews, about 6 months in she stopped seeing as the only ones doing the work was me and a friend of mine. I dont see why teachers even bother reading at school, no body is ever interested and most of the time it just ends up being point less. In primary school its okay, little kids enjoy it, but in high school....
  6. Im sure its possible but definitly not for me, even if i have no money i mange to scrap up enough coins to buy the cheapest book in the store lol
  7. Hi, im trying to find a book for my sister, she spends a fair amount of time on public transport and wants something to past the time. I figured this would be a good chance to get her to start reading more. She not a very big reader (i use to read to her actually....) but i've recently found out she enjoys stories based on the Greek/Egyptian myths. Im not really interested in these topics of fiction so im not much help ehehe..... Seeing as she's not a very big reader im guessing young adult books might be a good start, but any recommendation would be appreciated Thanks~!
