That is your opinion, and of course your entitled to have one. I just tend to disagree with every point you made. this should be a discussion on this autobiography, and not CNN as the above post appears to be from. Just as you seem very left. I am an ultraconservative who believes that Bush was a fantasic president, and I have never met a republican who told me otherwise, especially compared to the shotty, most inexperienced, terrible current administration. (inexperiencedd refers only to the president.) Please refrain from making this your demecratic platform, I was asked a question and I responded. Being wealthy has nothing to do with politics or religion. and as a matter of fact I believe it to be the other way around, you can't be left and be a christian. The bible is actually very right... How can someone be Pro-Choice and be a christian? you can't because your killing something god created. How can you be a gay marriage activist and be christian? The bible says marriage is between man and woman, not man and man. these are things that Dems have been fighting for for years.

Well to be honest, he is my favorite for a few reasons. He is very devoit in his faith, as am I, and used that in every question he was faced with in his presidency. I believe America was very lucky to have a president like him in office during 9/11 and all of the terrorist attacks that america faced, he is hard nosed and well versed in war (His father was president during part of the gulf war/ desert storm.) Many a presidents would not have had the courage to react as he did, and immeadietly go to war, with a country and organization (al Qieda) because they would be worried about there image, and re-election. He truely loves his country and his emotions are raw. I love a president who wears his heart on his sleeve. Also I am a republican, I do admire, FDR Greatly as well.

This is probabby true, I wouldn't question the honesty, however I am inclined to agree, on the depth of the matter. Either way, it will be interesting to read about 9/11 and Katrina, about the elections etc...

Has anyone read this yet? My wife bought me the the book, and I just finished the first chapter seems like its going to be a great read. Its intresting, it gives you all the tough decisions he had to make while in office as The President of the United States. George wrote it himself, with no ghost writer, so it makes it that much better that your getting the words, directly from "the horse's mouth". He is my favorite president, and I was curious as to wether or not anyone has read this yet, and there thoughts?

The last movie I saw, was The Other Guys, starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. I got about an hour into it and turned it off, I really felt 2x dumber after watching this awful movie. Will Ferrell obviously just wanted to jump on his own bandwagon after the success of step brothers, and wanted to star in another movie that would be funny and make no sense at the same time. 2/10

Finished the second, and I am 120 pages into the third. I wasn't as big of a fan off the second as I was the first. It seemed to be a bit dull. It was a little more of a chase novel as opposed to the smart sauvy first novel. The third novel thus far is very interesting and I like the dark passenger story so far. Curious as to how it ends, will probably finish today, then I will respond to that one as well. EDIT::Finished the Third Novel. I loved it. I don't want to put spoilers on here, but it was very good. Looking forward to the next.

I read about 2 books a week. about 6-8 a month, and so on and so forth.

The Restoration Novels by Terri Blackstock I believe they are... The LAST LIGHT, The LOST LIGHT The TRUE LIGHT And DAWNS LIGHT... All about a family, when the power goes out all around the world... Doesnt sound great, but once you read them you will love them.

I just read the first dexter book... LOVED IT. it was a lot like the first season of the television show, however there are some big differences too. I loved it and can't wait to read the rest of the books.

Has Anyone besides me read this yet? I really enjoyed the novel, had almost a john grisham feel to it. The ending I didnt like however... no spoilers.

Read 200 pages of Night Light last night...

There was a book released a few years back here in the united states, that they stopped publishing after a few weeks because everyone opposed it so much. I'm not sure if people in the UK know about O.J. Simpson. He was a terrific Running Back in american football. record setter even. well he retired in the 1979, as the 2nd best in his time. (Now I believe he is 17th or 18th.) Years later after his wife and he divorced She was murdered in his front yard. It became one of the biggest trials in the history of the U.S. because everyone in america though he was guilty and he got off. In 2006 Simpson released a book titled "If I Did It." A book he depicted if he had killed his ex wife, this is how he would have done it. It was banned less than a month after itsd release and there are only a few hundred thousand copies available today. "Although the original release of the book was canceled shortly after it was announced in November 2006, 400,000 physical copies of the original book were printed and by June 2007 copies of the book had leaked online." - Wikipedia

I finished the second in the Alex Deleware series and quite honestly I like the series but it can be a bit boring. I will continue with the third but I am going to take a break and start something else. Has anyone read the Restoration series by Terri Blackstock. I picked up the first book on clearence and seems its pretty interesting? Anyone ?
