I hear you on the mid-week blues front. I'm getting made redundant so it's the horrors of a serious job search. Thanks for the recommendation. I can't think of a genre of music that I don't like. I like bits of everything. As for the gig tomorrow, I've got a free VIP pass. My best friends daughter works at the venue. Every cloud......

Thats sounds like a great night out:) Been doing ok apart from the mid week blues. If you like folky/punky fusion sort of music give gogol bordello a listen they have been tauted as the ukranian pogues.

Just finished Cold heart Canyon. I liked it a lot, Barker is a great story teller with a awesome (if not a little perverted) imagination. The ending was a little weak but all in all a great read.

The Infamous dentist torture scene in the Marathon man. "Is it safe?" There's a french film called Irreversible, that had a 10minute scene in it, which if I saw it again would make me leave the room.
