  1. I'm all into fashion, lifestyle, & sports magazines; I get a subscriptions of 4 magazines on these 3 subjects. Yes, unusual combination but I love tennis, basketball and American football.
  2. Borrowing ebooks beyond a library's walls Publishers and distributors of digital commodities must stop trying to apply outdated physical restrictions to them Several local authorities currently run ebook lending services in libraries whereby users can log on to the library website and remotely access a range of ebooks with suitable restrictions and digital rights management software. The Publishers Association propose to restrict ebook lending to the physical confines of library buildings: users would have to enter the library and download the ebook from a designated terminal. The Publishers Association must be crazy. They are trying to take out the entire convenience of ebooks. I will be very angry if this come to pass. Here's the entire article: guardian.co.uk
  3. I'm kinda a ebook junkie, I own 4 (3 Sony Readers and 1 Kindle). At one point I had 5 but I sold the extra Kindle on ebay.
  4. Thank you for all the warm welcomes!
  5. I've been a member since March but never posted. I've been lurking and finally decided to participate. Sorry it took over 9 months but I'm kind of shy.
  6. OK, it's my guilty pleasure. I'm all into fantasy mix with romance and I bought one of these books at a local use book store for very little. I loved that book so much and was happy to discover that the author had 20 books (some short stories) in that series. I had just purchased a Sony Reader and I bought all the remaining 19 books in e-format the same night!
  7. We are reading The Undomestic Goddess for our monthly read and I like how light hearted it truly is. I would recommend it. This is my 1st book by this author.
