  1. I've only just returned from my holiday and haven't done the reading group before, I need to order it, I didn't realise you'd be talking about it so quickly!!!! I was waiting for it to be decided which book. I'll try and read as soon as poss because it did sound like an interesting read.
  2. well i've finished it, but it didn't do it for me I'm afraid.
  3. I got to chapter 7 and was finding it really hard work and not that entertaining, but as its our book club book, I've downloaded it on Audio from itunes, I'm still not impressed but at least I'll finish it. Thanks for everyones reply, at least I'm not the only one who doesn't 'get it'. I believe books should be enjoyable to read, and for me this one isn't.
  4. Is it me or what? I'm on page 70 chapter 7 of catch 21 and jus not gettin into it at all. Is the satirical humour going over my head or does it get better?
  5. Has anyone read Felix Shill Deserves to Die by Gareth Busson, I recently read this and was really impressed would love to hear others views?
  6. Hi as I said in my title I'm Bev, and I've just started reading again, I try to read but get distracted or I'm too busy so I made it my New Years resolution to find the time to read, so far I'm on book four, so I'm keeping to it. I don't really do favourites, I'll read anything that catches my eye or looks different, my last read was "One Day" by David Nicholls because I liked the cover, the one before was once and then by Morris Gleitzman both very good childrens stories that made me cry! The reason I decided to make reading my new years resolution is thanks to a chap named Gareth Busson who wrote a book called "Felix Shill deserves to Die", I read it over Christmas and I loved it, (I can honestly say I only read it because I used to work with him and didn't think he'd be able to write a good book!) It was different which is what I look for in a book, I hate predictable. So I'm off to explore the forums. __________________
