  1. This can't be true??? Please find out and let us know!!! x
  2. Hi everyone, can i join in with this too? I've tried the Special K diet and found it worked but it wasn't easy. I just got too hungry! And as someone already mentioned, it is a quick fix and it's more than likely that you will put weight on when u finish it. However last year I joined Slimming World (not sure if it exists outside of Britain?) and lost 24 pounds It's one of the best diets I've tried because I just love eating and you can literally eat loads allll the time! I highly recommend.. I've put alot of it back since then though (due to the fact that I moved to France and found it difficult to eat healthily - do not understand how French people are so slim considering what they eat and drink!). I'm now living in Spain and yesterday i joined the gym and have been eating healthily so far so hopefully next week when i weigh i'll see some progress! I have hundreds of diet tips so if anyone needs any advice, please ask ! x
  3. Hi Rachel and welcome

I'm an author who posts on the forum. You might like to take a look at 2 of my books - STAR GAZING and EMOTIONAL GEOLOGY. They might fit the bill, esp. SG. There are lots of reviews and comments on the BCF site.

    Happy reading!

  4. Hey everyone, I'm looking for something new to read. Last Summer I read The Time Traveller's Wife, and I absolutely loved it, and haven't managed to find anything as good since! I've read Lovely Bones and thought it was amazing I read alot of Marian Keye's but also like classics. I'm not a big fan of Austen but absolutely loved Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier. I'm looking for something good that's a little bit more serious than Marian Keyes with a bit of an edge and preferably a little bit of romance. Can anyone recommend anything new?x
  5. Heyyy, I've read almost all of Marian Keyes's books. Love them. Rachel's holiday was one of my favourites of the Walsh family books (I've read Watermelon and Angels), but my favourite Marian Keyes book is Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married. Have you read that one? Also, has anybody read her new book, The Brightest Star In The Sky??? Opinions please... x
