  1. i have read some more of the thosand splendid sun, and im starting to enjoy it, and brought two more books today, pickle the night world series are really good, read then when i was young and back then they were really hard to find, none of the big store did them, they had to order through amazon. Finally i can finish them off and buy the last two books.
  2. i brought the thosand splendid sun yesterday and started reading it, have got up to chapter 4 now, will read some more at lunch, im not enjoying it atm, but will fight through the begining
  3. yeh i remember reading help me. and that when i got in to them but could not find them anywhere at all. i cant beleive they are children books i thought it was scary. (ps can someone delete the thread i made up in the children section on point horror. i didnt realise there was a thread already)
  4. have anyone read any of the point horror books, i was looking for them yesterday in whsmith and was told they children books. the only one i read i thought was quite scary for a child to read. does anyone else think this
  5. i would say depend how you use it. if you want to go riding in forest and wood then i would suggest down hill mountain bike or if it just general riding then i would suggest a road bike. i am looking at the down hill mountain bike as that what i am in to.
  6. hi runner. which part of bristol are you from? i love cycling i use to be part of bmx group when i was young and competed in regional and national. i am lazy now and dont do so much i would love to get back in to cycling i am waiting for job so i can get a new bike. my bike is a bit to old now, it was brought for me on my 11 birthday, it a good bike but just want an up to date one. i also love hiking as well.
  7. thanks you all for my welcome messages. i have never read any catherine cookson book. my mum use to love her books and i always thought they were to hard going. but i will give them a go. and will post on here with what i think of them. i am going to start off the the servgated secrets, when i get round to it. it on my bed side table open on the first page but just been so busy and my bf dont read and im just to lazy to get out of bed to turn the light off atm lol, i got no bed side lamps atm, just redecorated my bedroom so finding some lamps that will go with the colour scheme. i also want to read around the road in 80 days books and the life of pi, which belong to my dad.
  8. hi i am new to this site, name kim and age 22. i have always loved reading recently been given a lot of catherine cookson books which belonged to my nan and mum before they pass away, i enjoy reading any genre of book.
  9. i have brought 4 news books today 3 of the twilight series and the rich n the poor
  10. I would love to see the vampire diarys by L.J. Smith in either a movie or tv series. I think there were like seven books so probably a film would be best. I have thought about writing a manuscript for it but thought it was too much effort.
