  1. I'm still watching. I really liked this week's episode. I think it may be the best so far; it felt a lot more like Doctor Who this week than it has been. All the other episodes have seemed a bit rushed.
  2. I love the new Weetabix adverts with the horse and jockey. Jockey: "There's nothing more important than a high-fibre breakfast." Horse: "And facing adversity like a mighty warrior." It goes something like that, anyway.
  3. I refuse to read Twilight. Do I even need to give a reason?
  4. I'm a little different. Instead of reading bits of the books when I want to choose one to read, I read the first few pages of all the books I buy as soon as I buy them. That way, when it comes to choosing something to read, I'll already have the feel of the book, so I know which book I'll get along with at the time.
  5. Free Spirit - Orchestra JB It's really funky!
  6. Yay, I got Alakazam! He's got some wicked spoons. Not sure I completely agree with the thingamabob, though.
  7. I'm watching a Family Guy marathon on BBC Three. I haven't laughed so much in ages!
  8. One of them would be reading magazines like Heat and Closer. I try to stay away from them, but they circulate round our Lolfa (the school's sixth-form lounge) and I can't resist! Another would be pancakes. We don't have them often, but when we do... yum! Ooh, and Nigella Lawson's cookery shows. I think she's brilliant; if her show is on, I'll watch it.
  9. I'm with you on this one! I like the Vintage Classics ones too - aside from being the easiest to read, they always have great covers! An example would be The Picture of Dorian Gray. I tried to read it before (Worsdworth Classics edition) and it did nothing but get on my nerves. I got a different edition (Penguin Classics - the ones with the black band) and I love it! It's funny how much the print size can impact how enjoyable a book is.
  10. I'm a boy called Will, and my best friend and I have just been caught by a man with some quite peculiar tattoos.
  11. I generally just stare at the bookshelf until a book stands out to me. It usually doesn't take too long to choose the next book; most of the time I've already got a few books going anyway.
  12. Ooh, good thread! I think I may be alone on this one, but I thought Fahrenheit 451 ended too suddenly. It's like the story was going, going, going... and then it just sort of stopped. Amazing book, but I just felt like it was a bit cut off at the end.
  13. Only 23 hours and 7 minutes 'til the next episode! I'm excited.
  14. Fair point. Do you know of any books where werewolves or vampires have been written well? I'm finding it difficult to find anything good - the market seems to be overrun by Twilight (ew) and other books that are just as rubbish.
