I have read all of her books and love them all, totally un-put-downable. Love all the characters, especially like the way I find I'm not to keen on a minor role character in one book but when they have their own book you seem to find yourself loving them. I would recommend to anyone to read these books.

Are the Dexter books any good, I have the first two but haven't seemed to be able to get into them. Have watch the tv series and loved them, does the book have anything new to add on the tv series and do they have the same kind of weird comedy aspect as the tv series?

Hi, I am wondering if anyone can help me to find a book that I vaguely remember from my childhood. It was a book that was read to us in class in around 1985 and all I can remember from it is something about a girl wandering into a magical forest that took her to another world, there was a part where she was at a castle that had Gargoyles on it that had come to life and she had to try and get past them. This is all that I can remember as I have a feeling that the teacher never finished the book. It is something that has always stuck in my mind and I would love to be able to find it to read again. Some people have suggested that it might be Rebecca's World by Terry Nation but as this is a difficult to get hold of I have not been able to read it and from what I have read about it on line I am not sure that it is the right book. Can anyone help me? thanks
