  1. Hello, Are you Pozdnyshev from The Kreutzer Sonata? I haven't read much Tolstoy, but thoroughly enjoyed Anna Karenin.
  2. Nana - Emile Zola. Does that mean I have to come up with another?
  3. I live in Paris, I will die in 1870. At the start of the book I star in an awful play, but bring the house down with a semi-clad appearance.
  4. 15/15 but I have just seen my 2 children through it so I guess I've had a bit of practise.
  5. Is it Mizoguchi in the Temple of the Golden Pavilion?
  6. Just noticed you've given the answer in another thread! Here's mine I am a Liverpudlian foundling with an enigmatic character and a taste for revenge.
  7. The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding ~ Agatha Christie (Thought I'd add a bit of Seasonality!
  8. Workmen, sorry workpeople or delivery people not turning up when you have taken the day off to wait in for them!!!!:motz: ...and people not indicating when they are turning left into the road you are turning right out of. (Does that make any sense at all?)
  9. I'd forgotten about Clive Barker, I loved Weaveworld and Imajica. Thats the thing i'm loving about this forum, you all keep reminding me of things I've read and should revisit or things I want to read.
  10. They sound awesome but I would be too scared I'd drop it in the bath!
  11. I found this so disappointing I didn't even get to the end! Perhaps I will revisit and give the end a try.
  12. Hello, I am new today so feeling a bit of an intruder, I thought I had read pretty much everything by Joanna Harris, but thanks to you all I now have a couple more titles to try. I thoroughly enjoyed most of the books, and would go as far as to say she was one of my favourites but "Blackberry Wine" I found a bit odd, and "the Evil Seed" I didn't think I liked, but then found I couldn't put it down and read it through the night so I suppose I must have!
