  1. Sirinrob, Thank you, i am eternally grateful it was this book. I didnt realise the author had 3 other similar books, Now begins the search for a copy of The Ultimate Alphabet. Just out of interest I wonder if anyone knows who actually won the 10 grand prize?? Once again thanks graham
  2. Unfortunately the site Janet posted contained mostly childrens books. None of these were the book I remember. IIRC the book had a off white or light grey cover and was approx A3 size Any info greatly appreciated. Cheers in advance:smile2:
  3. thanx Janet I'll have a look around that site.
  4. hello everyone this is my first post. If there is similar information already posted i apologize and would appreciate it if you can re-direct me to the correct thread. Anyway i need help locating a book that i had as a teenager about 30+ years ago. No pressure there then Unfortunately i cannot remember the title or author but as you will see from the following description it was a very distinctive book. book was a collection of 26 (i think)extremely detailed coloured drawings each depicting a letter of the alphabet. along with the main book there was a paperbacked booklet containing lists of items to find on each page. IIRC there was a competition involved where you had to find which of the items on the list were actually on the pictures. Some of the items on the lists were bogus. I would appreciate any help at all in locating this book as my daughter is addicted to hidden object computer games and doesnt believe there could have been a book like this prior to computers. OH the folly of youth:lol: If any one knows the title and author or even where i can obtain a copy (preferably with the booklet, although after all this time it would be a miracle if it is !) i would be eternally grateful. Many thanks to you all in advance graham
