I'm thrilled to (finally, sorry for the delay!) announce the January giveaway, with a Sherlock Holmes theme! Supporters can win a beautiful little hardback edition of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as well as a stylish a5 print by www.thestorygift.co.uk/, featuring some witty advice from the great detective.     As always, if you support on patreon or if you supported before patreon (and did so less than twelve months ago), you'll be entered into the giveaway automatically. If you're not a supporter but want to take part, you can support for this month here: https://www.patreon.com/bookclubforum .   The winner will be selected at random on January 31st. Good luck!

  1. Jodi Picoult

Oh I love her books, I've read Salem Falls, Nineteen Minutes & My Sister's Keeper. They're really, really awesome. Sad, though.
  2. Linwood Barclay

I really really love his books; Too Close to Home & No Time for Goodbye. They do take a while to get into, in my opinion, but straight after that you're seriously hooked. Can't wait for his next book, especially as my forum is doing an interview with him! Anybody else read these?
  3. What are Everyone's Favourite Films?

It's quite hard, um... Keeping Mum is very funny!
  4. Michael's List

Yeah, I've read Flambards, but Blind Beauty is the best! I recommend that one, alot. And yeah, you don't have to be mad on Horse Racing to like Dick Francis, as Proof is based more on wine-selling than Horse Racing.
  5. Twilight - The Poll!

Haven't read it, and to be honest, don't intend to!
  6. Michael's List

Oh, that is so hard! Salem Falls was good, Midsummer Nights Death & Prove Yourself a Hero, too, but probably - For Kicks, Dick Francis < He is an amazing author, and this book was written in the 60's (I think) ! It definelty proves something, old books can be just as good as the new ones.

  10. Hiya.

It took me a while to find this! I'm usually quite quick anyway, Hi, Im Michael aka Massiniman. I'm addcited to reading, my friends have had enough of seing me reading, i talk about the book to them and they usually walk away! (sometimes i don't blame them). A 300page book every 4days is my usaul, depending on how much i like it. I'm currently thirteen, (yeah quite young) but prefer adult company tobehonest because most teens are idiots! Read books like CHERUB and Shapeshifter, Watership Down (which i just finished is surprisingly good. Anyway, can't think of anything else so, HI! Oh, i know - i love horse racing!
