  1. I always read at bedtime.....i find i cannot sleep without having read a few pages first ...unfortunately sometimes a book is so good that i read far into the early hours and leave little time to sleep before getting up and going to work
  2. I hope you don't mind me voicing my opinion here (you don't know me), but I have read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and I highly recommend it. It will take you on a wild ride where reality is never as it seems. Philip K. Dick is a master of unexpected twists and turns. The times i have picked that up in a bookstore and put it back on the shelf choosing something else instead of it. Totally drawn to the book but unsure because of the strange title......i will definately buy it now...thanks for the recommendation
  3. Hi. Although i read Stephen Kings 'IT' many many years ago... it still sits on the top of my most disturbing reads list
  4. Hi and welcome. Im fairly new myself. Its nice to find a fellow Dean Koontz reader. Have you read his Frankenstein trilogy? I also like Donaldson
  5. I have re-read quite a few over the years....but more recently re-read the Twilight series, Of Mice and Men, The Mists of Avalon and Odd Thomas
  6. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Dimitra - I enjoy so many different styles it would probably be easier to say what i don't read and that is Romance such as Danielle Steele - no disrespect to the author or her readers.
  7. Hi to you all. This looks like a nice friendly place to stay and have a chat with fellow book lovers. I have read many, many books and look forward to reading many many more.
