  1. This was a recent book that had fave reviews about a man who is washed up in Spain thinking he is Christopher Columbus. There is a lot of talk about male arousal and we keep going back in time but it is poor and hard to get into, it is a page turner but cos u have to turn back a few pages to get the gist. I will finish it even just to give a poor review.
  2. Scariest Book Ever?

The book IT by Stephen King, I loved it but was blimming scarey
  3. Almost finished Blood and Ice by Robert Masello a brilliant book and a real page turner.
  4. One Day by David Nicholls.

      Sounds like a great day!

  6. Most memorable first lines

"Who would have believed in the late 19th century that human affairs were being watched from space"
  7. The First Crime Novel You Read?

An unsuitable job for a woman P.D.James.
  8. Jacqueline Wilson

Have you read anymore? My grand daughter loves Tracy Beaker and all Wilsons books. My faves were Enid Blyton but I am much older than you.
  9. I am 170 pages into Patricia Cornwell's Unnatural Exposure. Her 8th Scarpetta novel. This amuses me as Cornwell describes the new Email and internet facilities and how an image builds down the screen. How the hell Lucy keeps her job I don't know as she is a bit amateur sometimes.Ring an FBI investogater has the hots for Lucy but he does seem a bit pervy. The books is a great thriller and at last we see Dr Kay has a personal side and sleeps with her new lover. This is my third book this week but the 1st Scarpetta I have read for a long time and I am really enjoying it. I have one more Scarpetta after this one but may read it last in my TBR for next week.
  10. Reading Habits

All housework done, home tidy, usually late afternoon laying on the sofa, complete silence. Glass of milk and a bag of wine Gums. Evenings in bed and I usually read until the small hours
  11. Do you read magazines often?

The New Scientist, and Radio Times thats all really.
  12. What's your poison?

Morrisons Orange Juice I don't drink alcohol at all, a glass of full fat milk is nice in the evening
  13. Robert Mc Gammon is very good. His books are not trilogies and I would start reading Swan Song about a young maturing girl during a nuclear war. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Swan-Song-Robert-McCammon/dp/1439156735/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1275414011&sr=8-1
  14. Stephen King

I am reading Insomnia and although I am well into the book page wise it is a hard book and really very boring. I do hope it improves. I never start a SK and not keep reading so I will let you know how I get along at the end Also Amazon says the Dome wont be out in paperback until July.
  15. Why I love books?

Books help me with my depression it is a great way to relax
