  8. Thanks It definitely depends on my mood at the time, sometimes I like reading mystery or murder books, other times I like reading love stories. I usually read fiction and more modern books but when I get recommendations I check them out too, like my dad recommended a pretty decent non-fiction historical book and I also like reading memoirs. Snowboard is definitely fun, I recommend just going out and doing it (with friends of course). I actually started it by taking lessons (all my brothers and sisters made the switch from skiing to snowboarding at the same time) but I think I was too young/uncoordinated to actually snowboard rather than just snowplow down the mountain so I switched back to skiing for a few years. Then my parents bought me a snowboard for Christmas one year so I didn't have a choice (haha) but after I really got the hang of it I absolutely loved it. So much fun
  9. I've seen the movie and read the book and loved them both. I saw the movie first, even though the book had been in my house and then that summer I read the book. I've also read several other books by Nicholas Sparks and I really like his style of writing. His stories are always moving but the books are easy to get through. If you liked The Notebook I definitely would recommend The Wedding and Dear John. They were both love stories, and easy reads but very different from the Notebook.
  10. These two have already been mentioned but personally I thought the Da Vinci Code was a pretty bad adaptation and even though I liked the movie The Kite Runner, in comparison to the book it was nothing and they left out some really big scenes.
  11. Love in the Time of Cholera - Gabriel Garcia Marquez (haven't read it yet, but really want to)
  12. haha i just figured out how to even message you back, you know my lack of technology skills, you will have to help me out :)

  13. Laura Stone knew exactly how to go to hell. The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult
  14. So these are in no real order (and for my mood at the moment): Red Hot Chili Peppers Dave Matthews Band John Mayer Damien Rice Missy Higgins
