  1. I want to be left satesfied or just wishing it had went on a little longer, just read that back and it sounds very rude! But that is how I want to be at the end of any book. My mood dictates what type of book I may choose to read tho.!

  6. OMG the wasp factory! i had forgot all bout, just thinking about bits of it makes me cringe. Has anyone read Skallagrig(sp) by william horwood i think?, been that long since i read it!. Its about people with pysichal and learning disabilities living in an institution. i am a nurse for people with learning disabilities and some of the content in the book made me glad that i wasnt part of it back then! A brilliant book i loved it but the abuse scenes very uncomfortable reading.

  8. i must add linda's books to my tbr list as well, not often i pick up a scottish author ( and i am scottish) they tend to make me think that they gonna be old fashioned! My aunts fault who passed all her old books on to me! these sound more up to date scotland tho! will give them a bash!
  9. i like any kind of fiction apart from the science kind. Been into reading seriously since i was a teenager, and that wasnt yesterday lol! have at least 500 books and still going! most in boxes at my mums, my flat just not big enough!

  12. hi, i have read The reading group and the tenko club, both when they came out a while ago. i enjoyed them both, i really like how she writes her female leads.
  13. Hi there! My name is Gillian and i live in the middle of Scotland with my little boy Kirk. Just found this forum by chance! Love reading and cant wait to get the hang of this forum chat so i can really get involved! None of my friends are that into reading so it will be great to chat to like minded people, when i get a chance on the computer in between keeping kirk amused and work!!
  14. i have now read all of cecilia's books, loved them all but am very confused with the gift. Really struggled with it and so felt very frustrated and a wee bit dissappointed.
  15. this was just a joy to read from start to finish, i couldnt get thruit quick enough, a rollercoaster right enough.
