  1. I have a variety of free bookmarks that I pick up when I'm in the library and my 3 faves which are a lovely Wizard of Oz one and 2 from Paperchase, they are black and deep pink with a typle of black flock over - they look classy anyhow!
  2. Just saying hi to my Twitter buddy! :exc:

  3. Forgive me if I've missed a post about this book already - I'm interested in reading An Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett - sounds great - anyone read it?
  4. The only time I come near Ashford is when we're on our way to my god-mum's caravan, in Romney Sands. :D

Btw, when someone leaves you a visitor message, click on 'View Conversation' then post your reply in the box. That way it appears on their profile, and they get a notification. :)

  5. Well thank you all - that gives me hope and I shall dip back into it later this evening once I'm finished with my current read - hopefully in half an hour or so.
  6. Hey Michelle - I'm in sunny Ashford, do you get to come this way much?

  7. Hi - where-abouts in Kent are you? I'm in the North West, in Dartford.

  8. Morning All - I read Twilight about 2 weeks ago, loved it, great. I then bought New Moon - and can I get into it? Nope. Have I jumped in too soon? I have found the first 20 or so pages hugely depressing also, so have put it down for now and picked up something totally different. Anyone else had this happen?
  9. Evening all - I don't mean to gloat but my mojo is in tact (wonderfully glowing with a hint of sparkle in fact - ok yes I mean to gloat). I'm wondering if Waterstones or any local booksellers may stock mojo's? Is it worth a try? Shall I shut up...................
  10. Hi - my absolute fave S.King novel is Insomnia - this one totally took over my mind, that guy has such an imagination, I'd fall asleep after reading and dream of the story. I've also read Dreamcatcher - another great one, Bag of Bones, hmmmm was ok and now recently Duma Key - great first 75% of book, however, I don't want to spoil anyone's reading here as I note a few have this in your TBR piles - the ending went a little off key (ha ha get it?) for me. I'd be interested to hear others' opinions of the ending
  11. Thank you all - so many replies so fast, must be a busy place
  12. Afternoon everyone - I'm new to this forum, so will be finding my way about for a while. I'm 39, an avid reader in Kent, UK. My Library Thing id is Dreamyflo, I'd love to have some friends on there also, so feel free to add me - feel free to peek at my library there - I'm adding to it almost daily, so it's rather small at the moment (I have about 300 books in boxes under my bed!). I'm a big fiction fan, anything and everything takes my fancy - old to new. Have joined here so that I can chat about my reads and learn about new ones from others. Always happy to talk books. Happy Easter All:D
