I usually head down there with my friends (bonfire night was amazing! Views of fireworks over the valley with hot cider and mulled wine at The Cumberland Arms....heaven!) xx

Haaa! I do the same....it's much more fun isn't it! Quinn is awful isn't he!! I thought the next book was due out this month so I went to Amazon to check the release date and it's not out until June!!! Devasted!!!

It's such a relief to get the dissertation out the way isn't it. How did you get on with it? I've got one more hand in on Monday which is a group project and then we're all done and dusted. Scary or what!!! Eeeek! Have you heard any more about your next course?

I ended up looking at it on you tube as I couldn't be bothered to register either I loved the Eric one! It looks like his hair is a bit darker in series three. My Sister has a massive crush on Godric () and was devastated when he went up in smoke. She's the only person I know who prefers Godric to Eric!

Haaa! Things are canny. I'm on the last leg of my dissertation and I must say, it's looking ok. My dissertation tutor (she's a professor called Jean Hillier and she conducts research on things that I can't even pronounce!!) says she was impressed by my draft. She's my idol (I get star struck by her!!! ) so for her to say she was impressed was like David Bowie telling a budding songwriter that he enjoyed his verse

Apart from that I've just been eating, sleeping and getting wobbly through a lack of exercise

Tome Cruise is enough to let anything down! I much prefer Stuart Townsend although I'm too not sure he can act (which says a lot for Tom Cruise! )

Slumdog is AMAZING!! I put off seeing it as I thought it wasn't my thing but it's the best movie I've ever seen. There's no subtitles or crazy dancing (until the end credits) and the child actors are brilliant! It's just a fantastic movie.....I can't recommend it highly enough :D You HAVE to see it as soon as you can xx

Poor Lestat! I love the later books as he usually introduces them and I can just hear Stuart Townsend speaking in his french accent from Queen of the Damned, in that seductive tone he has.

I'm reading Q & A at the moment by Vikas Swarup. Slumdog Millionnaire was based on it although the only thing that is similar is the gameshow element and a few situations. I'm enjoying it so far although (dare I say it) it's not as good as the movie yet.

3 days in placement is a fantastic opportunity isn't it. Do you have a placement set up already or will it be allocated to you in Sept?
