They didnt have Lunar park and glamarama in my local so i will order them when i pick these up. Ive read Less than Zero and American psycho and was fascinated without really knowing why. 4. Your welcome julie,I'm sure your going to enjoy the book and looking forward to your comments when you have read it.

Thanks also Bobbly,I tend to get a bit of tunnel vision when it comes to Mr King...a bit like supporting your soccer team, they are always the best even when they are not playing well lol.

  5. hi julie,I read this a few months back and thought it was brilliant, for me it read very much like the King's early works.Despite its mammoth size I found it fast paced and I flew through it despite not being a very fast reader myself. The book kicks right off from the get go and doesnt let up really.I would easily give it 9/10,but them I'm a King freak so please take that into account lol.

  6. Finished Odd Thomas (what a moving end)loved it though, was a great book and will be reading the rest of the series.

Now after a long time away from Rolands quest for the Dark Tower I am after probably 8 yesrs or after when I read Wizard and Glass (book IV) I have finally got around to reading book V Wolves of the Calla. I debated wether or not to start again with the first four books in the series but opted for just diving right back into wolves.Luckily I have retained much from the first 4 books so shouldn't be a problem.

  7. Hi Elly, welcome to the forum,I'm also a massive stephen king fan,a non king book I would recommend and I read it recently was Swan song by Rober mccammon,a massive book but I literally bulldozed my way through it it was so good. Currently reading my first book by Dean Koontz and its Odd Thomas, again its excellent so far.

  8. Hi everybody, just though I would introduce myself :)

I'm 24, from the uk, and have loved reading ever since I was little. I will read anything that looks interesting, but have mainly read fantasy in the past. I was introduced to Robert Jordans Wheel of Time books and loved fantasy since then. Read all sorts from Robin Hobb, to R. A. Salvatore to Eddings.

Recently I have got into crime, reading novellas from less famous authors, some good some bad. I have just finished Carrie by Stephen King and want to read some more of his books. Just After Sunset is the next one on the list, and hopefully I will get hooked :)

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know people, and share my insight and experiences, as well as pick up some tips on books to read for the future!!!

Welcome Steve,I think you may enjoy the dark tower series by stephen king, super series IMHO of course, big SK fan here so probably a little biased :D One thing with the King as a new reader of his work there is no shortage of choice.
