  1. Not the one I was thinking of, sorry - but it sounds interesting. I'll see if they've got it at the library . The book I'm trying to find began with two women and a donkey, then it was one woman with two donkeys.
  2. I don't know the title of the book. The author's first name was Helen, and she took some donkeys across the Alps. I remember that she and her friend stayed with a man whose house was decorated with pictures of a man humping large rabbits, and that she met the Pope, and at the end she had a long hot bath. It was a non-fiction book.
  3. I've read all the Malory Towers books at least six times each; I'm currently re-reading Virginia Andrew's Dollanganger series, for the third time; the only Earth's Children book I can read without skipping pages is The Valley of Horses (I usually skip all pages without speech, and end up getting bored). I've also read Nicholas Evans' The Loop at least nine times; I prefer this book to The Horse Whisperer, and I hated The Smoke Jumper.
