Lady, you keep replying to me on your own message board! That's why I don't get back to you sooner! If you click on my name, it'll send you to my message board.
I love Wales. I love the coastline. I love the sea. I love walking in the hills (I do this a lot). I believe there is little better than being in the middle of nature and all it's beauty. It does something to my heart when I'm out there, all alone, soaking it in. It feels...like life! Does that make any sense at all???
I hope you're most excellent and well.

Morning Kate. Just a quickie to say that I got your pm and will reply when I have a bit more time. My vice has been compared to Guy Garvey's, so I think it's similar. I've got a fair amount of stuff recorded an am working on some more stuff even now! I hope you're feeling great and that you have a lovely day.

Evening. I notice you're a fan of Andy McNab. Did you ever watch that Spaced episode where Mike (the lovely Nick Frost) is waiting to go into his tribunal with the TA and he says to himself "I'm Andy McNab, I'm Andy McNab, I'm Andy McNab, I'm Andy McDowell"?
Excellent stuff.
I'm off now, fella. Pip pip.

Hey, I'm sorry you've been unwell. Nothing too serious, I hope (although I'm fairly envious of the staying in bed reading part ).
Get well quickly, Kelly.

I'm currently reading Narrow Dog To Carcossonne by Terry Darlington. It's a true account of a retired couple sailing their Narrowboat across the English Channel to France and down to Carcossonne. The 'Narrow Dog' of the title is Jim, their Whippet. It's a lovely story.
I've not had a lot of time to chat on the forum lately - I seem to be exceptionally busy at the moment. I run two scout groups (10-14's and 14-18's) and two sets of something we have here in England called the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (one at school and one with my 14-18's). The DofE is great fun and is excellent at developing young people by introducing them to volunteering, physical activities, learning new skills (an instrument, for example) and getting them out into the hills on expeditions (my personal favourite!).
I'm hoping that you finish your thesis soon, so you can relax with your feet up, a good book in your hand and a large glass of some excellent beverage of your choice beside you!

Hiya Frankie. It's been about a thousand years or so since I said hi. I thought I'd pop in, 'cos I noticed on Catwoman's thread that you've been bigging-up the Dexter novels. This pleases me, as I've just bought all four! I'll be getting on to them before too long (I bought all four because I had dozens of book tokens given to me by my colleagues as a leaving present).
How are you doing? Have you persuaded your OH to join the site yet, rather than commenting over your shoulder?
Take care, mate (you were my first friend on here!).

Sarah. Where are you? Report back, immediately! We're missing you on here, Lady!
