Hey there. Really sorry if I caused inadvertent offence. I am actually very liberal-minded and am a vociferous advocate for people with disabilities (learning disabilities is my field). I also have a warped sense of humour that sometimes gets me into trouble. I'll watch my p's and q's in future. I'm really very sorry if I upset you.

Morning Kate. Just a quickie to say that I got your pm and will reply when I have a bit more time. My vice has been compared to Guy Garvey's, so I think it's similar. I've got a fair amount of stuff recorded an am working on some more stuff even now! I hope you're feeling great and that you have a lovely day.

I've hit upon a way of describing the way Murakami makes me feel. He's Sushi for the mind! I've been looking for this sound-bite for ages! I'm so pleased...hope you've had a good weekend.

It's nice that you work with disadvantaged children, Genevieve. I work with adults with learning disabilities, and have done ever since I was 21. Up until that point, I was a professional musician. Bit of a leap, I know, but I guess that's how life works. I've applied to become a policeman, but the process takes a good few years - I'm already a year into it now!
It sounds as if you have quite a bit on your plate, but I'm very pleased to have made your acquaintance, albeit virtually.
I hope your weekend has gone very splendidly, my lovely friend.

One piece of advice I would give would be, during the day itself, make sure that you both stop and take stock of everything that's happening around you, with you and for you. The day will shoot by. Hold each others hand, see what's going on and recognise that it is all for the two of you, for the celebration of the two of you. It will be wonderful. :friends0:

Erm...you live with your husband, daughter and six what? I'm left with unbearable curiosity.
And Dead Koontz? Don't tell me that! I want to know what happens in the Frankenstein books, dammit!

Good work on the prologue posts, fella. By gum, I fair gostered with mirth, as they say. How's tricks? I notice you replied to my message on your own wall. An interesting idea. It's Saturday night! Woo-hoo! I'm staying in! Woo-hoo! Again! Still, there's something to be said for Italian food, Italian wine and Italian wom...oh, bum...it's just Italian food and wine, then...

It is, indeed, as you say, my face on display, but I put it up merely for amusement as I look so very, very grumpy in it. I took it on my phone whilst I was walking something called The Pennine Way - a 270ish mile walk over the hills and moors up the 'backbone' on England and into Scotland. I did it entirely on my own and saw very few people. I think the isolation was getting to me by this point!
I love the way you write. Please, continue to write in your own inimitable style. You say such nice things.
Where have you been, anyway?
I hope you're very, very well and not too tired from whatever excursions you have been involved in.
