  1. 1) My fiance have been together for almost 6 years, engaged for almost 5 years ... but until last November we were separated by 600 miles (I'm Canadian and he's an American) 2) Ideally, in 10 years I'll have at least one books of my poems published ... working in a museum and doing stand-up comedy on the side! 3) I have weak ankles but I love to dance, I can't sing but I do anyways. 4) There are 6 pillows on my bed, and I only sleep on 3 of them (and I sleep alone!) 5) I love penguins. They are CUTE!
  2. We all have to have a failing somewhere, right? I grew up around Toronto, and love rooting for our home-town heroes. Oh, I wish I had kept playing badminton after I left school ... what an amusing game!
  3. I would love just sit down for a bit with Beatrice Small ... I find her written works of romance and erotica amazing and her attention to details for her historical references are impeccable!
  4. My best friend and I stumbled into Twilight be accident and I my have created a vampire-addict. I really enjoyed this series, but I'm not sure it's as wonderful as everyone makes it out to be. Of course, I was in love with the wizards before ... and I wasn't ready to leave that bandwagon for another. All in all I thought they were a great read ... not just for teens, but for all ages who enjoy a romance story with drama!
  5. I love ice cream! My favourites are Mint Chocolate Chip, or even chocolate or vanilla (I'm simple and easy to please!)
  6. I agree, reading should be a sport! However, my favourite sports of all times are Hockey (NHL - my team is the Toronto Maple Leafs) and Formula 1 racing (in which my beloved racer is Felipe Massa) ... only a few weeks until the racing season starts again!
  7. I used to be an avid reader of James Patterson. I quite enjoyed the Alex Cross series and have read them many times over. The thing I enjoy most about them (and have search for other books that do the same) is that the narration switched between the detective and the killer, giving you a perspective from all over. It made it more interesting, kept me guessing as to who was the killer and the things go through his mind. I have only a read a few in the Woman's Murder Club but I hope to read more soon!
  8. All the books I've read so far this year! ** I am a lover of mystery, romance and erotica books, so please be advised! ** (Book in italics are currently being read) Read Count 2009 ~~ 5 January ~ 2 ~ "The Templar, The Queen, and her Lover" by Michael Jecks ~ "Forbidden Pleasures" by Beatrice Small ~ "Dangerous Pleasures" by Beatrice Small February ~ 3 ~ "Enchanted" by Nancy Madore ~ "Addicted" ~ Charlotte Featherstone ~ "Down in Texas" by Delilah Devlin

  10. Hello All! I'm another book worm here to join the ranks and find out about amazing books I have yet to read. I thought I'd copy and paste this form, since it's the easiest way to learn more about me! Name: Jenn Birthday: December 4th, 1985 Age: 23 Starsign: Sagittarius Single/Married/Other? Engaged! Children? None yet Where do you live? Toronto, Ontario, Canadia Do you work? Yes, as a receptionist Favourite Romance author? Beatrice Small, Rosemary Rogers Favourite Mystery author? James Patterson Favourite Erotica author? Nancy Madore Favourite series-writer author? J.K. Rowling, Stephanie Meyers Favourite book? Too Many to name! How did you get here? I have been thinking about joining a book club for some time, but was unsure how to go about it and having so much trouble just "jumping into one" (I'm shy and insecure!). I did a google search for book clubs and this forum came up! 'What an interesting place' I thought as I viewed the forum as a guest, and was excited to join! I'm excited to learn more about different books, make new friends, and find people who enjoy the same eclectic mix of literature as I do!
