  1. I haven't read these yet but I've got the first book on my kindle. I love the TV series so think I'll make it my next read.
  2. I'd read Stranger in a Strange Land first. it's been on my wishlist for a while now & I've heard lots of good things about it.
  3. I used to drink coffee and tea. When I was pregnant 12 years ago I went off both then, after I'd had my daughter, only wanted to drink tea. I've only had a handful of cups of coffee since whereas I drink 3-4 mugs of tea a day. Strange how our tastes change.
  4. I have a Kindle Keyboard and was tempted by the Paperwhite when it was on offer a few months ago. I decided to wait to see what the new models would be like but £169 for the wifi Voyager seems expensive for what it is. Will probably still upgrade to the Paperwhite.
  5. Unfortunately I haven't read any of his Books (yet). The first would be Extinction Game, it sounds like one I will love and I've read good reviews for it already.
  6. My first would be Timebomb as you can't beat a good time travel story. They all look interesting though.
  7. I'd miss wifi the most, if the router goes down for a short while I feel lost! sad but true
  8. I've had this one on my wishlist for a while and managed to get it for my Kindle, the eBook is only £1.99 at the moment from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rivers-London-Peter-Grant-ebook/dp/B004K1EC1S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1363201781&sr=8-3
  9. I use my library a lot. The libraries in Suffolk are fantastic. It's free to reserve books, I didn't realise some people had to pay. Also you can request a book from any of the County libraries and have it delivered to any branch as well. If they haven't got a book that you want to read you can suggest it and they'll do their best to get it for you.
  10. Almost. I went to ythe library and got If Nobody Speaks Of Remarkable Things by Jon McGregor to take on holiday. I started it when I got home and didn't think much of it at first but after about 30 pages I was hooked. I carried on reading while I cooked the tea but then stopped because of other things I had to do. Once the children were in bed I sat on the sofa and didn't get up again until I'd finished it. I read it for the second time last year and enjoyed it then as well.
  11. Paperbacks are easier for me to take to work and read in the bath. However I think hardbacks look nicer on the shelf. If I read a paperback book that I really enjoyed and would read again I try and get hold of a copy in hardback.

  13. My name's Sam (short for Samantha) and I live in Suffolk with my husband and our 2 daughters. I'll read almost anything except misery memoirs and romance novels. My favourite authors at the moment are R.J Ellory and Nevil Shute.
