Music and lyrics, it's so feel good!
As for series Buffy the Vampire slayer I watch lots. And I borrowed Northern Exposure from my Mum's friend when I was still stick in the house with my broken leg and that was a good comfort one.

I loved all of these. The stupid Pop-song stays annoyingly in your head, though.
yes but the 'video' is funny, so cheesy

My Mum made us chicken balti tonight, yumm yumm

Only one has actually made me cry. That was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. There are a few I've got a bit misty eyed over though, like The Time Traveler's Wife
-
Usually only one. But it depends, if I have something more difficult to read or possibly that's 'depressing' then I read something lighter with it, like I am now

Romeo + Juliet (The Baz Lurman version)
Moulin Rouge
Music and Lyrics (a guilty pleasure!)

The best I've seen recently is Slumdog Millionaire, which is sure to become a favourite

Cookie Dough, especially the Ben and Jerry's one! But anything with chocolate is good

This is one I use all the time. It's tasty and really simple.
For 4 people use:
500g mince (beef or lamb)
1 large tin baked beans
1 stoke cube (lamb or beef)
2 medium potatos, skins left on
Worcester sauce
1. Pre-heat oven 200C
2. Brown off mince in saucepan
3. Add beans, a dash of Worcester sauce and crumble in stock cube
4. Slice potatoes about 5mm thick
5. Pour mince mixture into casserole dish, top with potatos
6. Cook in oven for about 50 mins or until potatoes are golden brown.
Note you don't have to pre-cook the potatoes. Putting cheese on the top is tasty too

I'm from Birmingham but people can't usually tell from my accent. It does come out on occasional words (like Birmingham, which means I always get the response "Oh I can tell now!" when I say where I'd from). And it's stronger when I've been drinking or talking to another Brummie. To the extend that one of my uni friends says that it's scary when me and a fellow Brummie are talking to each other

I'm from Birmingham England. I did go to uni in Wales but then came back to Birmingham.

I googled book forums, and this was first on the list and looked good

You're so doomed. Mark my words. *laughs*
Welcome!
I know, I already spend so much time on my Harry Potter site...even when barely anyone is posting!

Hi,
My name's Lucy I'm from Birmingham (UK) and I'm 21 (almost 22). I'm an active member of Chamber of Secrets forums which is a Harry Potter forum but things have been a little quite lately, and seeing as I'm stuck in the house most of the day (I broke my leg a few months ago and am only just getting up and about again). I used to post on the BBC's book board before it got closed so I thought a book forum would be a good new place.
I tend to like mystery books, a bit of fantasy, historical fiction, and romances. Chick lit. is my guilty pleasure.
Umm what else can I say... I'm a psychology graduate and hoping to go into educational psychology eventually, after I have the experience and the next degree! I like shopping, listening to music, writing, reading (obviously!), and spend far too much time on the internet!

Birthday: 9th February
Age: 21 (almost 22)
Starsign: Aquarius
Single/Married/Other? In a relationship, with Archie. We've been together about 2 1/2 years
Children? None
Where do you live? Birmingham, UK (well Sandwell really, but not many people know where that is)
Do you work? I was working as a volunteer for mencap (who help out people with learning disabilities) through CSV. But at the moment I'm on sick leave and considering whether to go back or not
Favourite author? Oh that's hard! Err I read a lot by Jodi Piccoult although she's not exactly my favourite writer. JK Rowling. Phillip Pulman. Sebastian Fawkes
Favourite book? That's quite a hard one too. I'm kinda obsessed with the Harry Potter books but I'm not sure if they're really my favourite. I like His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. Captain Correli's Mandolin. The Time Traveller's Wife
How did you get here? Google

lol yes. I love that scene.
I have a bit of a thing for Hugh Grant movies...or just Hugh Grant generally...which is a bit wrong seeing as he's old enough to be my Dad, and I didn't like him so much with his floppy hair when he was younger
