After reaching April 22nd with only 5 books read this month, I went into a reading frenzy and am up to 9 books read 6 days later. Aiming to finish another 3 in the next 4 days. If only I was this motivated in my professional life!

My God I actually just purchased a Kindle book which tells me the correct number of total pages, as well as the page I'm on, instead of just my 'location'. Splendid!

sitting with a nice smelling cooling mud pac on your face is one of the best ways to pamper yourself!

My Goodreads perpetually tells me I am one book ahead of schedule, no matter how fast I read. It's not very motivating.

I just realised it's now over a year since I came back to the forum posting full-time as opposed to popping in once every six months - and 9 months since I got re-modded. Still here! So glad I got out of my rut, I'd missed this place.

I'm a bit behind on replying in people's threads and updating my own - I'll catch up this weekend!

First day working from home was not the least productive day's work I've ever done, so I'm counting it as a success

I'm sad that I only started Wayward Pines like an hour ago, because if I had started on Friday I could have binged all weekend on the books and then the show. Oh well.

I don't plan on ever getting married but if I somehow wind up doing it I'm gonna sing Thinking Out Loud so Ed Sheeran turns up (as he does) and sings it for me. Yep.

Discovered last night that cheap flights (50-80 euro) from Dublin to Oslo in Norway are surprisingly common all year round. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Ah, yeah. I'm very careful to check all the fine print of every stage, I'm quite obsessive compulsive like that, and cheap airlines like Ryanair are designed to capitalize on anyone who isn't OCD about it.
Sousa - I know, but if I was only going for two nights and stayed in a hostel, it would be pretty cheap.
As it is, I've booked a 4-night trip to Iceland instead through Groupon, hopefully it'll be okay!

That doesn't bother me. Ryanair primarily deal in shorthaul flights, and if you're paying €60 for a return Ryanair ticket that would cost €130 (these numbers based off recent Cork-London flights I looked up) with say, Aer Lingus (as good as British Airways) and if you have to pay even the most expensive hold baggage of €35 with Ryanair, and none with Aer Lingus, you're still saving over €30 by going Ryanair. I've never had to check luggage with Ryanair, I only use them for sho...
