SO many cute pets!! It makes me want to get another!

I definitely buy way more than I read. I love book browsing. I love flipping through books. And I love buying them. I just wish I could read 500x faster to keep up with my book buying!

I go through waves of reading a lot to reading nothing. There are times where I just do not feel like reading. I don't know why. And I've been in that slump for awhile (probably thanks to school and wedding planning. But still! I love reading, what is wrong with me?!) It's totally normal! Happens to a lot of people

I was going to give up but a few people had told me that it gets better and to keep going. I kept going and nothing is better about it but i've made it so far I feel I should finish it. Silly, I know! haha If I were only 100 pages in and hadn't had any encouragement to keep going, I would definitely put it down!

Still trudging through The Casual Vacancy. Can't wait to finish it so I can move on to something more enjoyable! only a couple hundred pages to go!

I've been reading this book for the past couple of months now. This is not at all what I had expected. It's much worse actually! I've wanted to put it down after the first go but I keep holding out incase it gets better. With only 200pages left to go, it hasn't gotten better. What a waste of time! I guess it's not for everyone.

We moved a few months ago and bought a nice new book shelf for all of my books! Unfortunately they didn't all fit on it lol Each box has a double layer. I looove it!

Happy Anniversary! August is a busy month for me. My friend returns from her 4 month trip to South East Asia tomorrow! Saturday my Fiance, his parents and I all leave for vacation for a week. Later this month is our 2 year anniversary! On top of everything, I have to get ready for school which starts next month! Stoked

The first half of the book is a bit of a drag but it does get better! I promise! Totally worth continuing with Finished Divergent by Veronica Roth. I really really enjoyed this book! I got a bit of a Hunger Games vibe from it, but it moves past that very quickly. Intriguing story! I couldn't put it down! Now comes the fun part - trying to find my next read! It isn't going too well...

It was a great gift! My boyfriend knows how much I love the show <3 I hope you're able to get a copy of it! I definitely recommend it for any Gilmore fans! Now I must get my hands on The Gilmore Girls Companion book! hehe

Coffee at Luke's? yes I do, it was also an xmas gift! Its basically just a bunch of essays written by various people about the show. Examples of essays: one talks about the mother-daughter bond and how hard it would be in 'real life.' Another talks about Stars Hollow and small towns, and how well businesses would fare in the real world. One defends Emily, who is not the villain everyone thinks she is. Another talks about the way the show perceives sexuality and relationships with men, etc. It was pretty interesting! And it was nice to see what others thought about the show (as I am a HUGE Gilmore Girls junky!)

My first read of the year is The Virgin Cure by Amy McKay! Heard great things about it, excited to give it a go!

Finished reading Coffee at Luke's today. Nice to incorporate more of Gilmore Girls in to my life! I just started The Virgin Cure by Amy McKay, a lovely xmas gift from my boyfriends parents!

I collect books, records and scarves! My room is overflowing with all three of them! And now my boyfriend has inherited the need to collect records. Our future house is going to be a clutterbug!

I'm a little over halfway through When God Was A Rabbit by Sarah Winman. Really enjoying it!

Finished The Night Circus. SO good! One of my favorites that I've read in quite some time! Highly recommend it! I started reading Pulp by Charles Bukowski. My first Bukowski! And I'm really enjoying it. He's the original Chuck Palahniuk! So funny!

I checked my shelfari and I'm up to 549 books! I need to stop buying books!

I'm almost finished The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Such a great book!! I'm loving it!
