  1. Hmm... 1. War and Peace 2. Pride and Prejudice 3. Emma I haven't read too many classics yet so this list might become outdated eventually
  2. Hehe, when I was younger I must have read through the Harry Potter books I had about seven times apeice. They were the books that got me into reading I think. I remember my parents getting the first one before there was any hype at all about them.
  3. For me, Sabriel/Lirael/Abhorsen are definitely on my top list of books. Right now I have a stack of about 110 fantasy genre books, and these I would say, are in the top 20 for sure. It was quite a long time ago I read them but I found them captivating at the time. Shade's Children also had a good story line, and I found it was a good book on the whole. Although I think the aforementioned series was better.
  4. Agreed. I'm now just finishing book 10. Book 11 is the latest one I believe, and 12 is being published in 09 by another author. I enjoyed the books nearer the begining, but like you said, it's lost itself. This will be the first series of books I'll be happy to finish
  5. Indeed, I'm now on book 9 and I find the names are becoming vague, there seems too many to remember, and the characters mistrust I find really annoying in this series so far. I don't really reccomend these books, personally I'll be glad to see the end of them
  6. I don't know if you've read these yet but I found the Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud and The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix really good reads. There's plenty of other great series to read such as those by Trudi Canavan, Joseph Delaney and James Clemens.
  7. I'm reading this series right now - well, I've just finished the fourth book and I'm waiting for the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth to be delivered. Personally I find the series ok-ish but I've found some of the actions of the characters are annoying. I agree with Debbie that they are probably likely to get more boring as I read more of them. Not my favourite series certainly, but they're quite good and I'll definatly have to finish reading them all; if just to find out what happens.
