Hehe that is a very good point! No wonder New Year's always feels like such an anticlimax, I jump the gun a little too early!!

It wasn't the style or the writing I struggled with, rather the fact that it didn't really grip me or make me feel like I wanted to keep reading the story. I persevered through about the first 100 odd pages but eventually I just got bored of reading it. Then I had to take it back to the library as it had been reserved. I feel bad that I haven't finished it though. I might give it another go soon. Have you read it? What were your thoughts?

I've recently joined the library as its very near to where I work, in fact thats what got me back into books in a big way! I'm a convert! I usually buy books for charity shops or, if I'm after something specific, from Amazon otherwise

I've been hunting around for a bookmark that I'll cherish, I'm useless at keeping hold of them usually. I currently have one that I got from a souvenir shop in Greece earlier this year
