  1. Oh my goodness, Tayto cheese and onion crisps are the best cheese and onion crisps ever, nothing competes! mmmm Tayto ... Oh sorry! In answer to your question, no I've never read it but it does sound pretty entertaining. Everytime I think of Tayto I think of Tandragee and the Tayto castle! I didn't realise there was actually a Mr Tayto, I thought it was all just clever advertising, learn something new everyday eh?
  2. ..and to think I was actually gonna try it! Good job I came back and read this thread
  3. I've just had a bagel with philly cheese and ham, scrummy
  4. I wish! Not as much fun I'm afraid . I'd used jam instead of cranberry sauce once when I'd run out for my turkey and then thought it would be nice on sausage rolls. Try it! It is really nice Oh those teacakes! I thought you meant tunnocks chocolate teacakes! Those teacakes sound fine with ham, a bit like fruit malt loaf? Now it's delishious with melted cheese You don't know what you're missing with the sausage rolls! Tiger bread is a bit like a large crusty loaf which you can slice to your own width. I'm not exactly sure what they put in it but it's ever so slightly flavoured with herbs or spices or something, it's also really nice with jam. I love jam, can you tell? Jam and cheese is nice too in a sandwich .. oh oh and walnut stuffing with jam ....I'll shut up now shall I?
  5. Trust me, try it Tea cakes and ham though? sounds em ... interesting?
  6. Sausage rolls and strawberry jam! It's yum, or apricot jam on them is just as nice Bagels with philadelphia and bacon! Chicken, sweetcorn, bacon and mayo sandwich filler on tiger bread. Not exactly low fat and healthy but really delish
  7. Hey Steeeeve! I'm so glad you changed your mind and came back. back!
  8. Hi BadgerB to the forum. I've a sneaky suspicion you'll fit right in!
  9. I've read the first 40 pages of The Heretic's Daughter, still not quite getting into it yet so I hope it picks up. I did however, for some reason unbeknownst to me, pick up and start re-reading the first in the Harry Potter series, I'm halfway through the 3rd chapter In no way did I intend to be reading 2 books at once
  10. Oh no, I read that series in order. I've just read The Kiss Of Evil in Jan and then realised there's one before it
  11. So you did! sorry, I forgot .. and they do get better
  12. Why did I have to click the link? You'd think I would know better by now I want!!! *rushes off to add to wishlist*
  13. I just read this last month, didn't realise it was the second in a series though, I hate when that happens Having said that, it didn't spoil it for me not having read the previous. I hope you enjoy it! I've read all The Rosary Girls series and really enjoyed the lot. They kinda reminded me of The Surgeon series by Tess Gerritsen, equally as good
  14. Thanks! When my mojo is good, I seem to fly through books and take full advantage of it, but I think I overdo it sometimes and 'drain it dry' so to speak. It's actually waning a bit at the min, I think it's tired!
  15. I am indeed , started it last night. I read a whole 5 pages, then fell asleep I haven't had a chance to read yet today, but I'll keep you posted thank you hun! Hurry up and join me on this one
  16. I am well thanx fer askin I hope you do like the Sookie books, if you're into supernaturals in general then I think you will enjoy them. They are quick reads and pretty addictive and a lot more grown up than something like Twilight. Have you seen the TV version True Blood? It's a pretty good adaptation of the books, but as per usual, the books are better. Enjoy the rest of your lunch!
  17. They are fun runner! But don't buy the 3 for 2 offer at waterstone's. Check out This .. much better offer. Start with Dead Until Dark
  18. *cheerfully gives Noll a kick up the rear end* (I could never slap you Nollypop ) I started The Heretic's Daughter last night, 5 pages then fell asleep
  19. Great reviews catwoman I was thinking of getting the lost symbol but I have Angels and Demons to read first so I guess I'll see how it goes with that one before hand. Glad you enjoyed BD too, I hope you're right and there are more books in the series to come!
  20. Thanks cw I hope you enjoy it more than I did. I just feel that I invested that much time in reading this installment, that now I want to know what happens next. Hopefully it's just a case of 'first of a series syndrome' where it's basically an introduction before the series continues, if you know what I mean
