I resisted reading this book because everyone told me I should read it, and I HATE being told what to do. Every time I read the back cover I thought.. ugh.. what a drag! Stuck in a boat with a tiger? yawn Ummm, it turns out I should have read it a long time ago because it was quite a good read. I don't feel I wasted 2 days of my life reading it !! An excellent read for anyone who's interested in philosophy, spirituality or surviving a devastating loss. You could debate storylines in this book for a long time. This book stays with you, and some lines haunt you forever. 7.5/10

But the new celebs will be kidnapped immediately and it will be up to the other campers to decide whether to pay their ransom and save them. The new stars entering the show are rumoured to be David Van Day, (yet another has been !!) singer with former 80s band Dollar, and ex Mis-teeq singer Su-Elise Nash. They will be held prisoner in a grotty den filled with rats and creepy crawlies, fed on meagre rations and given no luxuries whatsoever. Ransom notes will be sent to the rest of the campers, demanding they give up their own luxury items, food rations and clothing to save their new teammates before they've even met them. Robert Kilroy-Silk, Esther Rantzen and Simon Webbe were talking about quitting the reality TV show until they were moved to join the other celebrities at Home Camp. Disgruntled about living on rice and beans, sleeping on a muddy floor and being put through gruelling Bushtucker Trials, they may be in two minds about giving up what little luxury they have to save the kidnapped contestants.

World Without End is the follow up book, but it's not really a sequel, it is set about 200 years later. It can be read alone, so you don't need to read Pillars to enjoy it. I read both books back to back, I really enjoyed both of them, but for me Pillars was the better of the two. Pillars 10/10 WWE 8/10

Just finished Therapy, I really really really enjoyed it. Fast paced thriller that I couldn't put down, read in it in two days (housework was put on hold !!) The ending doesn't disappoint, which can so often happen. A big thumbs up 10/10
