DiTerlizzi, Tony & Black, Holly > I'm Bann der Elfen (Lucinda's Secret) 7. DiTerlizzi, Tony & Black, Holly > Der eiserne Baum (The Ironwood Tree) 8. DiTerlizzi, Tony & Black, Holly > Die Rache der Kobolde (The Wrath of Mulgarath) synopsis from amazon We are very proud (and a bit wary) to announce the publication of The Spiderwick Chronicles. But beware, the faeries will use all their power to stop you from reading these books. Book 1 of The Spiderwick Chronicles in which Mallory, Simon and Jared get acquainted with their new home but find many unexpected things. It all starts when Jared Grace find their great uncle's book, "Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastic World Around You." and realises that are not alone in their new house. Now the Grace kids want to tell their story but the faeries will do everything to stop them...Its up to you to spread the word about their discovery. But heed their warnings, wear some red, turn your clothes inside out - all anti-faerie devices - and get ready to enter a world that you never knew existed...Its closer than you think! my thoughts Such wonderful books! I mean, even the drawings alone ... wow and the story is really cute. rating: 4/5 series: Spiderwick Chronicles 1-5
  2. You're right Kylie I love the height extension as it's perfect for the larger size cookery books, which wouldn't fit otherwise. The rows with the boxes in it only hold "normal size" paperbacks but I likr my authors to stay together, that's why I only have books in the higher rows. Even if I have the same number of shelves as you, I'm not even near your amount of books. My bf got the other half of the living room walls and he got 1.5 more Billys and his are full of books just like yours
  3. 3. Schwindt, Peter > Das Vermaechtnis der Magier my thoughts This is the third book in the Morland trilogy by the german author Peter Schwindt. I found it to be quite boring and the story could have gotten wrapped up in only two books easily. rating: 2/5 series: Morland 3
  4. Awesome lists you got there Have fun reading in 2012

    welcome to the forums
  9. Great lists Happy reading in 2012
  10. 2. Armstrong, Kelley > Hoellenglanz (The Reckoning) synopsis from amazon In the end, there's always a reckoning. Chloe Saunders's life is not what you would call normal. First of all, she can't figure out how she feels about a certain antisocial werewolf or his charming brother—who just happens to be a sorcerer. Then there's the fact that she's running for her life from an evil corporation that's trying to kill her and her supernatural friends. And finally, she's a genetically altered necromancer who can raise the dead, rotting corpses and all, without even trying. Not normal. But Chloe has a plan. And the end is very near. my thoughts Another very good book. All three installments kept me glued to the pages and reading until late at night. The end of part three didn't feel finished though, so I'll have to look if there will be another follow up, which I would definately welcome a whole lot. rating: 4/5 series: Darkest Powers 3
  11. 1. Kelley Armstrong > Seelennacht (The Awakening) synopsis from amazon You don't have to be alive to be awakened. Chloe Saunders is a living science experiment—not only can she see ghosts, but she was genetically altered by a sinister organization called the Edison Group. She's a teenage necromancer whose powers are out of control, which means she can raise the dead without even trying. Now Chloe's running for her life with three of her supernatural friends—a charming sorcerer, a cynical werewolf, and a disgruntled witch—and they have to find someone who can help them before the Edison Group catches them. Or die trying. my thoughts I really liked the second book just as much as the first. I like the differency to other fantasy books I've been reading, because of the necromany/ghost oart of the story. The writing and story in general kept me glued to the book, which is always a very good thing. rating: 4/5 series: Darkest Power 2
  12. I would also suggest Nora Roberts, I've read quite a few of her books and even though they'realmost all the same, they're good. I especially liked Northern Lights.
  13. The books on my library list are the books I own and you can see them on the picture that I posted in the first post. It's a list of all of my books and the ones I already read are marked in orange. The black ones are my "tbr-pile" I'm still not finished with writing down all of my books, I still need to add the bottom shelf to the list.
