Me too, I'm just drinking hot drinks continually .. I was rationing them but it got so cold that rational thought has gone out of the window.
When it's this cold that last thing you want is a cold glass of water or pop. Bring on the coffee
Liquorice tea:)
What is liquorice tea? I've never heard of it but I'm intrigued!

Yes, you can get the internet, but it says that it's browser is an 'experimental feature' - it is usable, but not that easy.
thanks Michelle. So you can go on any website or is it limited to just amazon to buy the books. Thanks for help, I've read the amazon website and reviews but I'm not very technological and it all goes over my head

I'm not really fussed about impressing people with the book choices. My bookshelves are set out to suit me, mainly with all the series together on shelves. It wouldn't bother me if people knew I had Russell Brand's book, Harry Potter, Twilight etc because I also have books like Dracula, Pride and Prejudice, Tale of Two Cities on there.

Can I ask...the Kindle which has the Wifi feature, does that mean that you can access the internet from it? Or is it limited. I'm so confused. I think I want one for xmas but I wish I could see it first so I know whether it's worth the money for me or not.

I don't watch international football but I would've loved to have seen Ronaldo's face last night. I can't stand him, he's always so smug and arrogant but I guess a 5-0 defeat will knock a few pegs out of them.

I think mine would have to be Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Although it's not a classic, I think it's a really interesting story that's entertaining, bit sad at time, thought provoking and well written.

I'm sure you'll love it Weave! Get going girl! Go see it by yourself if you have to.
Did anyone else think it ended abruptly? I know it had to cut off somewhere, but I guess I wasn't expecting it to be at that point. I'm also glad I didn't re-read the book first. It was good because I had forgotten some minor plot points so I didn't know everything that was happening. There were lots of 'oh, yeah! I remember now!' moments.
Totally agree with you. It did seem to just stop suddenly, but I'm not sure if that's just because I didn't want it to end And there was a few bits I had forgotten about (because I didn't get far enough through the book before seeing it) and a few bits that were missing that I really wish were in. I cannot wait for next year though
The last movie I watched was Sweeney Todd!

I haven't bought many, Tale of Two Cities, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Peter Rabbit, Twilight and Mr Men. There are a few on that list that are on my TBR list.

I haven't been on the forum for a while. I still don't get much time to read now and my reading mojo did disappear for a long time! But last week I bought the first six (and subsequently the rest) of the Morganville vampire series by Rachel Caine. I'm upto book 5 and really enjoying them so far, well I must be considering I've read 5 in little over a week .
Other book activity for me included thinking about my book list for santa. I don't have many on it; the Dexter series (apart from the first one), Russell Brand's second autobiography and the Wicked books

I think mine would include rereading a lot of my favourite books rather than focusing on anything new. Sometimes I find more comfort reading books I've already read I'm sure Harry Potter would be in there, as well books like Time Travelers Wife and Christmas Carol. I'm also desperate to read the rest of the Dexter books.

If it's the one with that Baldwin guy, you're in for a really nice movie
Yeah, him and Meryl Streep who I love

Stefan is too goody goody for me, although he seems to get a bit more edgy as the series goes on. I started watching the pilot episode again last night and it's funny how much they've all changed, character and looks wise.
I now prefer Vampire Diaries to True Blood. To be honest, I only tune in for the vamp aspect in that show - Eric/Pam/Fangatasia/King/ Queen etc. There's too many "day" characters I don't like. In fact, make Lafayette a vamp and just set the show at night

Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I wish I could forget that I saw it!
I love that movie
I'm going to watch It's Complicated later tonight. I've wanted to see this movie for so long!

Hello I'm new. Well not really new but since its been over 3 years since I last logged in, I'm saying new.
Basics...I'm 24, from Newcastle (UK) and fell in love with reading again (lost mojo for many, many months) after getting a Kindle.
Best book read recently: The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult.
Avatar pic: my favourite book from my childhood, bought again recently and fell in love all over again.
So hello It's good to be back.
