  1. I tend to read all sequels of a series, even if I wasn't impressed with one of them. I just might not be as eager to get them the first week they're out. Vampire Diaries by LJ Smith is a good example of this. I felt that the first few books were pretty poor, but they got better as the series went on. So I'm glad I kept reading.
  2. Some watermelon The main reason I love watermelon is because of the colour
  3. I try not to buy hardback books, mainy because they're too heavy and they don't fit on my shelf But when I do read them, I take the cover off. I think it just gets in the way or gets crumpled, so I just read it without that put it back when I'm finished.
  4. I always miss the Google page now because I set Facebook as my homepage. It's quite sad that I miss seeing the little icons Although I did see the one with the little balls (there's really no better way to word that )
  5. Yeah, you have to. I love trying to spot what books people have, particularly if I have them too. I have quite a few on Charm's shelves
  6. As Lucy said, most (if not all) of Jodi Picouly novels have some kind of moral/ethical issues raised. One that stands out in my mind is My Sisters Keeper and Change of Heart which considers the issues regarding donors, particularly within the family.
  7. I've haven't read anything for a while now. I can't decide on which book to read. Think I'm going through a bit of a "none-reading-spell". Help!
  8. Wow Charm I'm so jealous Those shelves look great!
  9. Join With Us - The Feeling. I forgot how good this band is!
  10. The Time Traveler's Wife is fantastic for a love story. It's so clever and in my top five books of all time. I haven't seen the movie yet though.
  11. I'm with you. DAMON! Does anyone know how long it is until it's shown in the UK? I think ITV2 said sometime in the autumn but not sure when.
  12. to the forum Lynne. I'm a fan of Jodi Picoult (well some of her books), the Twilight series and I love most of Sophie Kinsella's too
  13. I haven't tried those ones yet, but I'm not a huge fan of cherries. I think there's an orange with the chocolate too but I hate orange flavour things
  14. I finished Personally I Blame My Fairy Godmother by Claudia Carroll. Not the best book I've ever read but not the worst either. Although I got more and more annoyed at the main character by the end. Not sure what to start next...I have a few books on my TBR list that I want to read.
  15. Moulin Rouge - fell asleep watching it last night. Will finish it tonight.
