PS. I've been watching loads of episodes of the Australian Biggest Loser season 9 today and I'm really loving the show. I think the people seem more real to me than in the US version because I've watched so much of American reality TV and I've grown too accustomed to it, therefore this new discovery of mine seems more genuine I don't even notice the accent anymore!

Is it tomorrow already?? Fuuuuck! Have so much fun and do not get lost. That's it, now you're safe. If you do though, just have a pint and figure out where you at. Maybe buy a map? Maybe ask them Londoners for help? I'm sure they're familiar with countrypeople asking for help
I've been meaning to answer your previous messages but my BF was in town and he always interrups me and so I thought I'd just answer you later. Now I'm in a flu Don't feel like I can focus for longer periods of time. It's the stupidest time to get sick anyways, the local music festival being this particular weekend Won't you feel sorry for me??
Aaa never mind me, have a blast luv!!!

Yes you're lucky, you definitely haven't missed a thing! Hardcore/crust punk! I have no idea what that is and I'm sorry to admit that I definitely don't like punk. And I had no idea we had any internationally known punk bands! Do you like any other kind of music? I usually go for the rock/metal thing.
Oh it would be great if you could get a night off, I'm sure your parents would love to watch your kids, grandparents usually adore their grandchildren and don't mind watching them Mums do need some time off for themselves so they're energised after that and can be better Mums, that's what I think!
Catch you later!

Well how coud I miss your rebel 70's?? If things are gonna get even crazier than they already are it's definitely worth seeing
Bummer, I have nothing to eat in the fridge or freezer, would I be an awfully awful person if I went to get me a nice little pizza from the groceryshop close by? I'd be adding some nice garlic, onion, and cheeze... Saliva just started gushing out of me mouth! Drownage! Drownage!

Hi Charm, how are you? I spent last night with Dexter I really thought that nothing in those books could surprise me anymore because I've seen so much already, but boy was I wrong. There was probably the most grotesque thing I've ever heard of in that book.
So I guess you've been warned. There are some really appalling stuff there but if you can survive that, then you're in for a treat Darkly Dreaming Dexter is the first novel. Happy hunting!

Goooood morning Charm!
Yep yep, us bookworms will both be fine, it's just a matter of time I think this forum has done so much good for both of us. I've never ever been on a forum that's so welcoming and friendly as this! I'll probably never get used to it
I'm a member on a Finnish forum that's for Jane Austen fans but also discusses other literature as well. I was really active on there before I found BCF, but it was kind of embarrasing because there were about 10 other active members and it seemed like they never bought books. I was always posting on What did you buy -thread and soon enough the thread was just a monologue by me! That was so embarrasing... I say once you go BCF, you can never go back. (sorry, that doesn't rhyme! )
I hope you had fun last night with hubby

Hi Bethany!
I liked The Good Wives almost as much as Little Women, so it was good I wanted to read these for so long but I was always put off by the fact that Winona Ryder played Jo in the movie and I didn't want to picture Jo the book character as her. (Can't stand the woman) I think I missed out on a really good book as a child/teenager because of this I'm glad I finally overcame it and just read it

No, it's not serious, it's just a regular flu with a rather ill timing. I'd hate to miss the local rock festival this weekend because of this. So I'm trying to recover soon BF left town so I'm a bit depressed about having to cook for myself now, and having to do the dishes But don't you worry about me, I've got good books and good TV to keep me company, I just need to rest is all.
You still reading them Harris books? How many has she actually written??

Hi supergran and thanks for visiting I really enjoy BFC, I can't believe how I haven't found this place before because I've been googling for a nice book forum like this for ages! But it's great to join now because there's already so much talk about books and so many threads to read

Yeah these things definitely can't influence what we read or don't read, which is a real shame sometimes. There are two sequels, Little Men and Jo's Boys but if I remember correctly these are about the girls' children's lives and I'm not overly interested about that so I don't think I'll be reading those. But I think it was great to find Little Women, I always liked L. M. Montgomery's books and wished there were more of these kinds of books!
