  1. I spy with my little eye that you've been on the forum! :D Sorry that I haven't replied to your message on FB yet, I've been a bit down myself what with all the spring reactions: dust on the pavement, dust on the road, dust everywhere, everywhere I go! I can't go outside without getting all sneezy and teary-eyed and it's been really bugging me. You're in my thoughts though  Catch you later luv! :)

  2. Thanks Ooshie for the Bday wishes! xo

  3. Yep the financial stress definitely didn't help, but now I know I'll be financially safe til autumn so that's great. Another thing that bummed me out was that my psychologist retired, she warned me two months beforehand but that felt really sudden to me at that moment. I knew I was getting another shrink but that didn't really help because I didn't know if I'd get along with the new one. But now I've met her and I think it'll be fine. And I'm glad that you were sorted out as well :friends0: It's amazing how many people there are on the forum who suffer/have suffered from depression, but then again, it shouldn't be that weird because it's actually quite common.

There's nothing wrong with getting in the mood to buy books :D Besides, I just saw you writing to Kylie about NOT buying Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde on TWO different occasions and that's just not cool. Kylie liked it, I liked it, what else do you need? :motz::lol:

Yep I'm not rushing on Dorian Gray at all anymore :/

  4. I think I'm okayish, although I could've slept a little longer, but that just enables a nice little nap with a book later on today ;) Oh boy I need to go and see my FB account, just to make sure I didn't make any other people giggle too much last night, I remember exchanging comments with you and those were fairly appropriate stuff, I think

  5. Hellooooo Kylie dearest! My Bday was nice but short! It could've lasted a week ;) Sorry for holding out on the info of THE book, but we went to the uni to get me swapping some books and then watched Inception (a really good movie, recommended by yours truly!) etc. But there it is now on the blog. :)

  6. Hiay! I'm good, just post-Easter bloated. Haven't left the house for what seems like ages, and have been just eating, watching TV, playing Carcassone online and reading. What have you been up to? I just discovered Jeffery Deaver's writing skills, I've been trying to find out which one of his books have been translated into Finnish, he uses a lot of technical jargon and it would be a bit more difficult to read him in English.

  7. Thanks Katrina for the birthday wishes! :)

  8. I hope you had great hols at your BF's parent's, it seemed like it because of the weather. I'm so jealous :smile2: BF was here for the Easter, and we've left the appartment only for food shopping (shop is within 200 metres), otherwise we've just been watching TV and spending time on the computer (he's studying computer science so he's also working, I'm playing Carcassonne) + reading. Which leads me to Carcassonne which is a popular board game from Germany, it's been Board Game of the Year here in Finland and elsewhere too. I'm not gonna go into details, you can check it out in wikipedia if you're interested :)

I saw the Alice wannabe video on youtube and it felt weird.. I mean teens do things that seem weird to the rest of us, but I'm so glad that I grew up in a time when there was no internet to broadcast my stupid actions on. Sometimes I'm disgusted with how easy it is to embarrass a friend or an enemy in front of the whole world nowadays, before there were smaller audiences.

  9. Thanks Echo for the birthday wishes :D

  10. Happy Birthday Ben, I hope you have an awesome day! :)

  11. Hiya Mac, and thanks for the Bday wishes! :) BTW, Kylie and I'll be soon joining our forces to put up some pictures and stories on my Australia thread, and there's this one picture we could not help but take, because, well, it's quite obvious that it's a tribute to you *giggle* So be aware when the time comes!

  12. Hiya Nicola, how are you? What's up today? :) I'm finally recovering from b-day, I went for drinks with a friend on Fri night and it was a fun, long night! I even made a snow angel when I came back home, everytime I go out I can see it  Some Xmas spirit for neighbors ;)

I'm now up to s5, episode 10, episode 11 is not working on my computer for some reason but I'm not going to skip that one just to get further! Last episode I watch was the Moroccon party and Phyllis blurted out that Angela's been doing Dwight  So next ep must be about Andy & Dwight and there's no way I'm skipping that!! And oooh I've now seen the part where Jim giftwrapped Dwight's "desk" and other "stuff" but boy was Dwight surprised  Epic scene!!

I agree, I always think that the makers should be out of ideas by now because they've done so much but they keep surprising us! I loved Holly, she was perfect for Michael! I hope she comes back to Scranton. Michael was no happy to see Toby back

  13. A very good plot indeed, aye? It took a while for you to get stuck with it but eventually I succeeded! :D Happy tunes ;)

  14. Could you read the promotional guidelines of the forum, please? Thank you.

  15. 3436, how did you manage that! I don't really know what's been happening, I'm still kinda off forum mode  I think I have to cut down on playing Carcassonne... Ooooh and I read my first ever Jeffery Deaver, The Bone Collector. I'm so glad I didn't start with The Broken Window because I just became a huge Deaver fan, he's the ****! I wasn't particularly pleased with Rhyme because I just found him really annoying and I didn't exactly fall in love with Sacks either, but I found their chemistry interesting and definitely want to read the books in order :smile2: I was mostly impressed with the plot and the twists in the end. I really really didn't know who the real murderer was, I was betting on a totally different person.

What you been reading? Anything interesting?

Oh and by the way, I think you two look cute together :D

Now I'm off to the forum, gonna read Jeffery Deaver threads :smile2:

  16. Kylie, am I to believe that you've never read Twilight?? (I saw your comment on Janet's avatar in the thread) Why??? Whyyyyy!!! (:tong:)

Maybe you'll cave in, some day... While I'm waiting for that, I think I'm off to bed now. Have a great morning/day! :D

  17. Are you sure you meant Andy, the annoying passive aggressive guy when you said he really grows on you?? I can't imagine that, I've never liked him. Well I never liked Dwight or Michael either but now I've become to understand them a bit better and empathise with them so I guess all's possible... Yep I saw the ep where he punched the wall  It was so funny when he came back and Dwight pepper sprayed him (he'd sprayed Roy too, for trying to attack Jim. Another epic episode!) Oh one of my fave episodes was when Holly came to work there and Dwight was doing a little hazing and told Holly that Kevin's mentally challenged. Poor Kevin thought she was totally into him and he was like I'm totally gonna bang her  I love Kevin, he's one of my fave characters <3

  18. Yeah you had me all "what?", I couldn't figure out what the time must be there over the pond, I couldn't decide whether you're still up late or waking up at a very random hour of the earliest morning. Too awful you have to work so early and on a Saturday as well!! :( I hope you can sneak in here during work ;):giggle:

  19. Thanks pickle for the Bday wishes! :) Oh my, you have a really beautiful profile page btw :)

  20. Partly because of that, yes, but mostly because there was so much snow that when I tried to get a firm step on the ground and push myself up the snow would, like, collapse under me and and I was trying not to use my hands to balance me so that the snow angel wouldn't get all messed up! When you come over here and experience snow, you'll know what I mean ;)

  21. Yeah I thought you were talking about that bigger dude trying to get on the table, how humiliating was that?? No wonder people were quitting the place left and right.

Oh and it's been so nice having Phyllis do the parties, hers are so much better than Angela's! Toby's going away party was absolutely brilliant! But I felt for Jim, he'd planned the fireworks and was just about to pop the question when idiot Andy happened :(

Actually I've got some further developments about that language exchange, it seems like another friend of mine would be interested in going with me, she was planning on going to UK/Ireland anyway so we can now do it together :D We are now trying to decide where we'd like to go. I told her Newcastle was an option, she sounded interested when I mentioned the pubs and that beautiful place in the town's center, you know the magical nature place. I've totally forgotten the name though, I must look it up so I can show pics for my friend!

  22. Thanks Maureen! :)

  23. BTW, I was googling for Emazon and ended up on this girl's book blog and she mentioned The Williamstown Literary Festival and I was thinking, are you going? It's on 29.4-1.5, around the time you're going traveling all over the place.

  24. Thank you Maureen for the birthday wishes :D

  25. Thanks Pixie for the Bday wishes, although I'm not sure about the 'many more' part, I think I could stay 29 years old for the next 50 years :P
