  1. I loved it! Whether it was cliched, came from an obvious creative writing class or not it was and probably always be one of the most thought provoking, tender, lovely books I've ever read.
  2. The first book I ever remember reading as a class at school was a book called The 99 Dragons. I don't know who it was by without checking but I remember the story well. I must have been around 7 at the time. We never did Shakespeare at school, neither did we do anything that I could class as classic literature. The one book I remember doing for GCSE was Walkabout. Another was D H Lawrences poem The Snake.
  3. It took my over two years to find this book in a charity shop and I wasn't disappointed. It was just the right length and although I didn't take to any of the characters ( I'm not actually sure we were meant to really ) I did enjoy the story and the questions it posed about how others perceive us.
  4. It is difficult to narrow it down to 3, but; The Count of Monte Cristo - Dumas The Moonstone - Wilkie Collins Vanity Fair - WM Thackeray
