  1. Oh yes i love love love love love love them! I was going to see them at london but nobody would go with me psssssshh they've ruined my life ;(
  2. I have Johnny Panic and the bible of dreams by her which are short stories which i tend to read between books so they are much better at engaging throughout. I love her way of writing, with the bell jar i wish at the end she carried on as at the end a lot seemed to be happening and it was very interesting, i didn't want it to end!!
  3. Slyvia Plath. Has anyone read this? At first i found it a little hard to get into because not much happened but after i kept reading i adored it, i think it is very beautiful but also very poignant.
  4. i meant the film wasnt as good at the book!!
  5. Yes the book isn't as good as the film, i watched the film first and then read the book which was good because it was much better and there was so much missing. Read it soon i would love to discuss it with you!!
  6. Oooo i think you will love it a lot, he writes so well, have you seen the movie?? I don't really want to give anything away so i really can't say much about aside that it's marvelous!
  7. Hello (: I find i'm having to get used to her writing as i've gone from short snappy 'easy' kind of reading to something where i have to look in to and take time to kind of 'assess'. She does write rather beautifully though and it's very good.
  8. Thank you again I look forward to many discussions in the near future!
  9. Thank you all for being so nice
  10. I know this seems a bit of a silly question but where do you read the most ? I generally find myself in the bath for hours reading ha ha. Although now i use my reading glasses a lot more it gets very hard to see through my steamy lenses
  11. Hi! I don't really know what to say here so i will tell you a little bit about myself i suppose I'm 18 and currently studying my A Levels (law, Politics, Sociology and Psychology). Soon going to Sheffield Hallam University to study psychology mainly because me and my friend are inseparable (: Very much wishing i took English lit which is very sad. I am aiming to become a clinical psychologist as i find mental illness very fascinating and i am very dismayed at the terrible stigma that surrounds it- thus wanted to help i guess. However, the uni only really does forensic psychology (the only option i am interested in) so i plan to do that after my psychology degree and then after 5 years turn to clinical, i would love to study neuropsychology in the future. Ermmmm, books yes, i love to kill a mocking bird and the catcher in the rye but at the moment my favourite books are the perks of being a wallflower and the virgin suicides. Currently reading Oranges are not the only fruit. I'm sorry if this is very long winded as i really don't know how i'm meant to introduce myself.
  12. Has anyone read this? It is so painful but so beautiful. It is meant to be aimed at younger audiences yet i find it to be a very mature book. I find Charlie instantly likeable, i love the style it is wrote in and the fact you have to keep reading to kind of 'fill in the blanks'.
